New Tricks

Mindy had just stepped out of the steamy shower when she was assaulted by the strident ringing of her cell phone.

She didn't need to look at the screen to know who it was either. Her younger sister had recently given birth to twin boys and this was their first big Halloween where they could dress up the kids in costumes and take them to a pumpkin patch. Updates were coming in by the hour. Her sister didn't seem to comprehend that it only took twenty or thirty pictures to appreciate how adorable her nephews were. So Mindy decided to ignore the call.

The bathroom was a luxurious affair with lots of marble and heated flooring. With whirling ceiling fans sucking up the steam clouds the whole room smelled wonderfully of citrus fruits, lemon, shea butter, and the many scented candles positioned throughout.

Now, eyeing herself in the mirror, Mindy liked what she saw.

She was a trim woman of about 5'6" with firm small breasts over a flat tummy. She was neither skinny nor voluptuous, but somewhere in between. Below a pert bottom was a pair OF shapely calves which looked great in either high-heels or flat sandals. Her skin was smooth silky porcelain white, emphasized by long shiny black hair that hung down her back. And her face had the look of innocence from having had little experience of life that sometimes marked a married woman of forty-two.

A moment later the phone started ringing again and Mindy was surprised to see that it was Walter. Her husband.

Wrapping a big fluffy towel around her sensitive skin, she picked up.

I just found out now, he said.

Well, that's fine. I guess I can just stay at the house and give out candy, she said with a theatrical sigh. I suppose that sounds much better than going to a nice restaurant and seeing a show like you promised.
