The Tall Man - Hassan Al-Halabi

    Chapter 1

Although the café was crowded with people, she had a strange feeling of loneliness and an unusual boredom. This is how Rouen was feeling herself as she was standing in her habitual place in Costa in Galleria Mall...

As usual, the same way of standing at the selling point with the always-repeated words: (hello teacher), (hello Mr. Jack), (hello Mm. Lina) ...

The same smile as always and of course she always had to bear her colleagues’ impressions of her, (Mark), (Rafael), and (Taylor), they were kind, one of them was in charge of the coffee machine preparing people’s drinks, and another was delivering them to their seats, and receiving others’ orders...

Nobody flirted her directly, but she was not that stupid, she was looking into their eyes as she was behaving in a way that gave the impression she was not conscious of anything.

The same smile as always despite the obvious harassment by eyes, by the way, they looked at her, by the fingers that touched her hands intentionally though the one who did that did it as if it were innocent. This was happening when she had to receive money or give back change...

She was used to all these gestures, something that was no longer interesting or surprising to her...

    Maniacs are men!

What would they benefit from something like this?!

    She wished she could
