Pipe Dream - Kokumo Noxid
Nature’s Mind
I listen to the wind
Telling stories of old and new things
Covering, uncovering
Exposing what's been wrapped up
A keen ear, gives meaning
To what you're seeking
As long as you're willing to be in’
-this existence
Everything will make sense
Drop the speculations
Of those who came after-words
And let's for-word
Guided by nature's mind
Caution
Belly butterfly flutters
To rapid rhythmic heartbeats
As thoughts of love-in-her
Confuses the mind
But this love isn't blind
So I may just throw caution to the wind
Pipe Dream
What's the purpose of this existence...I asked
Searching for all that we've lost
Wearing a smile, which is actually a mask
For all the doubts keeps floating in and out of your past
Life is such a contrast
As you stare into your reality
...like a hourglass
Puffing a pipe full of dreams
Watching the smoke disappears
Into obscurity
From A Poet To A Dream
I take a sniff of life
It may have been early morning
Or
Late night
The poet comes alive
With the ability to dream
Like a dancing shadow on the wall
Weaving words
Leaving a trail where they fall
Follow, see where it takes you
It may just be a magical journey
Where a poet’s dreams come true
Journey
You don't know why we journey
What we came to see, to do, so you can be
You don't know why we’re journeying
When we complete
Then we reject
Deplete and repeat
A process of newness
If you don't know why we journey
It's because you're stuck in an illusion
Governed by time and space
Classified as a race
That's going nowhere...
Today, I AM stuck in the house again
Waiting to be unrestraint
From this freedom ghost
I AM trapped by the very thing I love, which hates me
...creativity
Got me to the place
Where insane thoughts, are those that offers clarity
You have to think, not just outside of boxes
But outside of the mind-u-factories
They created to function
In stop and start mode...question nothing
Until the circuits overloads
Could this be a countdown to the doom
...for some say the future is full of gloom
But, hasn't it been that way since Plymouth Rock
So why has it come as a shock
Maybe we've forgotten about the real victims
There's no freedom within a evil system
Nothing lost, could never have been found
Yet you spilt blood on sacred ground
What goes around, might just come around
We are only passers by
Stopping briefly as friends
Lovers, parents, child
Just for a while in someone's life
Staying long enough to feel wanted
Then leave with memories
See this ground
Old feet stomped here
Made way for new ones
Disturbing dry bones restlessly, resting
I Rule
I rule
Where no rules rule
No accommodation for mental fools
Grandma's clever brain
And busy hands
Were the tools
Taught independence from start
Never saw her clutched no books
Yet never short of witty words
Never saw her in Sunday best
Yet spiritually never digressed
Nature was her guardian...guide
Giving her all that she provides
Now in us her memories survived
Generations will come to know her
How she clutched her pipe between her teeth
Every puffing sounds was like a heartbeat
All that, are the treasures we keep
And grandma’s rules
Is I rule
Where no rules rule
Rules I
Re-turn
Where will I be
When I re-turn
I left the candle to burn
At both ends
Life's lessons learned
For this newness
I yearn
Knowing You
When will you know me,
To know you
The emptiness I feel
Missing you both,
Your antics, your laughters
Even tears
Have I been denied
Denying
Such joy of seeing you grow up
Have I sacrificed too much
But, I too need to grow stronger
To be able to sustain all your strengths
Let's not count in time or distance
For I have already created
Your existence
Comfort, Comes First
I touched her
Gently
I struck the right cords
To get her in a rhythmic groove
So effortlessly
It makes me hard ears
To resist
As she reach for a kiss
I caresses the warmth of her breath
Pressing into her breasts
Placing I thoughts at best
I took lessons taught from birth
That comfort, comes first
It’s only the eyes
That sees love
In such beautiful reflection
Of the heart
Forward at you
Then you realise
You’re creating what you see
A reflective destiny
