Gaye Hemsley

For many years Gaye Hemsley has worked with children and adults as a dance teacher. She believes dancing and writing are a happy marriage both requiring a creative mind. She has published several picture books. For her seventh birthday she published a poetry book of her life experiences. A lot of her ideas come in the night so she keeps a pen and paper handy to jot ideas down. Out walking is also inspiring; a poem will come to her so she sends it to herself via mobile phone.
