Working 9 to 75! DOLLY’S busier than ever

Blowing out candles was never going to be enough for larger-than-life Dolly Parton to mark her 75th birthday. The Jolene singer is plotting to make the most of the milestone, which is on January 19, with a world tour that is presently postponed due to the coronavirus.

“Expect Dolly Fest to go global in 15 stadiums, which we have on hold right now. It will be very Dolly,” her manager Danny Nozzell has announced.

“As long as I’m living, I’m working,” Dolly asserts.

In the last couple of years, she has produced and acted in the Netflix series , overseen the re-staging of , recorded a Christmas album, , released , a book that delves into the stories behind 175 of her songs, and made a, which she stars in as well as writing all the music. And that’s without the beauty products and baking line (think guitar-shaped cookie cutters) that bear her name.
