About this ebook

THE FALSE PROPHET, AN EXPOSE
Everyone is called upon to make a choice. Jesus is true and Muhammad is false or Jesus is false and Muhammad is true. Your god is true and Jesus is false or Jesus is true and your god is false. Christianity is not a call to blind faith. It is a call to an intelligent faith. Paul said “I KNOW whom I have believed.” (2 Timothy 1:12). Jesus also says “And you shall KNOW the truth (that is, you shall no longer be in doubt) and the truth shall set you free.” (John 8:32). It is therefore never out of place to demand for proofs from anyone who claims to be a prophet. God, who gave proofs of himself, expects that from us. “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Therefore, this book beams the searchlight on Jesus and Muhammad to unravel the Truth and expose the false Personality.

My foremost thanks go to Mrs G.M Williams who read my manuscripts. I derived tremendous benefit from her constructive criticisms and counselling. My gratitude equally goes to the family of Reverend Gabriel Adeosun, Pastor Kinsley Ezediunor and Joseph Ezediunor, Pastor Anthonius Yankah and Reverend  Jacob Onwukaike of the Assemblies of God Church.

My appreciation and thanks go to Reverend O.C Julius and Pastor Silvanus Ojong. I also thank my wife, Annie for her love, understanding, encouragement, patience and tolerance. My love goes to my children, Adei, Morenike, Oluwatosin, Moyosore and Ekundayo. We indeed passed through a lot together, but they were steadfast in their love for me.

My thanks and appreciation also goes to Rev. (Dr) F.O Faola of the Joel International Ministerial and Theological Academy who also read this manuscript and supported me financially and spiritually.

    INTRODUCTION

I was wonderfully moved one day by a preacher in a public bus in Lagos. He was preaching about Signs of the End-Time and the proliferation of false prophets. He mentioned the names of Guru Maharaj Ji and Olumba Olumba as examples of false prophets. When we alighted from the bus, I asked him why he never included the name of Muhammad among the list of false prophets he had mentioned. I realized from his answer that he knew next to nothing about Islam. Many Christian evangelists knew very little about Islam, as a result, they could not point out to the Muslim, the numerous misconceived beliefs he holds.

Before this bus incident, I had received the call to write another book even as I was putting the finishing touches to The Satanic Plan. This bus incident drew my attention to the relevance of what the Holy Spirit had told me to write about.

I was born into an Islamic family and I grew up a Muslim. My father was the Chief Imam of the Ahmadiyya mosque in Accra Central, Ghana, until his death in 1996. I studied Islamic Religion at the University of Ghana for my Bachelor’s degree. Later, I taught Islamic Studies at the Corona Secondary School, Agbara in Nigeria. I have to say this little about myself because many Muslims may tend to look at me now from a different angle. Instead of accepting the facts presented in this book, many of them may say He was never a Muslim anyway. However, whether I was a Muslim or not is totally immaterial. Jesus Christ makes no discrimination in whoever comes to him. Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. (John 6:37).I dedicate this work to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To my Lord and God belongs all honour, adoration and glory in Jesus name, Amen.

    THE CONTROVERSIES

A study of the Quran and the Bible reveals that, these two books presented different views on several issues. Such views are so antithetical that, absolutely nothing can be done to reconcile them. They just cannot originate from the same God. Therefore, a stand must be taken. One view-point is definitely false and the other true. We are going to look at those salient controversies and, guided by the Holy Spirit, unearth the truth that shall set many free, from the terrible shackles of falsehood.

The Quran say Jesus Christ was not crucified and did not resurrect. And their saying we did kill the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the messenger of Allah, whereas they slew him not, nor crucified him. (Quran 4:157). But the Bible says Jesus was crucified and he resurrected on the third day. Commenting on the crucifixion an Islamic scholar wrote Salvation for the Christians hangs on a thread - the crucifixion of Christ. Funnily enough he should have also realised that, on the same thread hangs the authenticity of his own faith – Islam. Both cannot be the words of God, for God will not contradict himself. Either Jesus Christ who predicted his crucifixion and resurrection ...the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the hands of men and they shall kill him and the third day he shall be raise again (Matthew 17:22-23) was a liar or Muhammad was.

Jesus claimed to be God. That all men should honour the Son EVEN AS THEY HONOUR THE FATHER. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. Again in John 8:58, Jesus says Verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was I AM. Let us compare these two verses to the following verses from the Old Testament. And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM and he said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. (Exodus 3:14). In Isaiah 43:10, we read Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chose, that ye may know and believe me and understand that I am He; before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. Jesus Christ received worship as God and accepted it to prove that he is indeed God. (John 9:38). The Quran rejects this claim. They have indeed disbelieved who say surely Allah is none but the Messiah son of Mary. (Quran 5:17). Both the Quran and the Bible cannot be right, Jesus Christ was either a false prophet or Muhammad was.

Jesus Christ claimed to be the Son of God. Verily, verily, I say unto you. The hour is coming, and now is when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God and they that hear shall live. (John 5:25). The Quran denied this claim. The Originator of the heavens and the earth, how can he have a son when he has no consort and he has created everything and has knowledge of all things. (Quran 6:101). In Quran 9:29, we come across the same message and the Jews say Ezra is the son of Allah and the Christians say the Messiah is the son of Allah; that is what they say with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieve before them. Allah’s curse be on them. How are they turn away. Again both the Quran and the Bible cannot be right. Either Jesus Christ was a false prophet or Muhammad was.

None should attempt to tread the middle path between these two extremes and come up with some pacifying statements like Christ was not God, but he was a great prophet, a unique human being. Jesus Christ considered who men believe him to be, very important and CRUCIAL to Salvation. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins; for ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins. (John 8:24). Jesus was clear and unambiguous in his claims. You will die in your sins if you do not believe that he is He. He could not have made himself clearer than this. He threw the ball right into our court: Accept him or reject him. Everyone is called upon to make a choice. Jesus is true and Muhammad is false or Jesus is false and Muhammad is true. Jesus is true and Buddha is false or Buddha is true and Jesus is false. Confucius is false and Jesus is true or Jesus is false and Confucius is true. Your god is true and Jesus is false or Jesus is true and your god is false.

Christianity is not a call to blind faith. It is a call to an intelligent faith. Paul said I KNOW whom I have believed. (2 Timothy 1:12). Jesus also says And you shall KNOW the truth (that is, you shall no longer be in doubt) and the truth shall set you free. (John 8:32). Any Christian should therefore be ready to give a defense of his faith to anyone who asks and seeks a reason for the hope that is in him. (1 Peter 3:15). Also, a Christian should be able to detect the flaws in a non-Christian stand and be able to present facts and arguments that fall in favour of Christ. I am a convert from Islam because, by his Grace, I was able to convince myself why Jesus is true and Muhammad is false.

    PROOFS

Fortunately, the Bible provides us with the necessary tools required to unmask a false prophet. Prophets are emissaries from the Almighty God with his message. Jonah was sent to the Ninevites with a message of repentance. Jeremiah was ordained a prophet and sent to the Israelites with messages of repentance, the coming destruction of Israel and false prophets. Other prophets from God were Moses, Ezekiel, Elisha, Elijah and many others. The books of Deuteronomy, Jeremiah and Ezekiel made us realise that we must also be on the lookout for false prophets.

Prophets are not created by God as a different breed of the human race for easy identification. They were, and are, and will always be one of us in every physical attribute. When a law enforcement officer, in uniform, accosts you, that uniform is enough proof of his authority. However, when he is in mufti, the first thing he does is to bring out his badge (proof) of his authority. God, himself gave proof of himself. Before, he created man; he had created light, the heaven, earth, vegetation and creatures of the water, the land and the air. When he then created man, he said to him ...have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:28). God did not give man dominion
