About this ebook

Celine and Dave were leaving to catch the plane in just a few hours. Dave was acting as best man at the wedding of his best friend. The man who had saved his life in Afghanistan. But, at the last minute, the stripper he’d hired for the bachelor party had cancelled.

Oh, he tried desperately to find somebody, but with only a few hours’ notice, it was impossible. Honestly, I barely knew the groom to be, and I’d never met any of the rest of the wedding party. So, when Dave couldn’t find anybody, I offered to be the entertainment! I mean, big deal! A wig, some makeup? Who’d know? I could strip down to my undies and cuddle the groom a little! I’m a big girl! Little did I know what I’d gotten myself into!

As Dave, exasperatedly, explained that it was more involved than that, I... Well, I guess I got excited! I’d have to strip, naked! Then, I’d have to do the bride groom right in front of everybody! And, uh... After that... The rest of the wedding party as well! There was no way in hell, that was happening! Not until I found out how much I’d get paid for it! We’re talking a small fortune here! One night? Seven guys? I knew girls in school that had done far worse!

I almost didn’t believe it, when I heard my voice telling my husband that I was still willing to do it! I couldn’t believe how turned on I was at the idea, either! Little old me? Taking on seven strangers? All, while my husband was forced to watch helplessly? Only returning to him after I’d... OMG!

    Prologue

What do you mean, you can’t do the bachelor party? The party’s tonight. I’ve been planning this for months. There’s no way I can find somebody else on this short of a notice, I stammered.

I’m really sorry, Mr. Dawes. Honest, I am. But, I was in a car accident last night on my way home from a gig. They just now let me have my phone back. My leg’s in a cast! I don’t think I’d be of much use as a stripper, not under the circumstances, Candy explained.

No… No, of course not. Sorry, I guess I’m just a little… Well, um… Sorry for your difficulties. Do you maybe know anybody that could possibly sub for you? I asked hopefully.

Sorry. It’s not like I’m all real buddy, buddy with any other strippers or anything. I honestly don’t have a name for you. Oh! The doctor’s here, I’m really sorry, but I’ll have to go. Hope you find somebody, she said as she hung up.

    Chapter 1

What’s all the commotion about, Dave? asked Celine sleepily, concern in her voice. The call had come in while we were still in bed.

Oh… Um… That was the girl I hired for Tom’s bachelor party. She was in a car accident last night and is in a cast. She can’t do the gig tonight, I explained.

Can’t you get some other girl for tonight? she asked, her voice a little petulant. Okay, she probably had a right. Celine wasn’t exactly happy about this whole thing. Tom was my best friend. We’d served together in the Army, and then ended up at the same college. And, when he asked me to be his best man, I had said yes. Of course, I did. What else could I do? But, that meant I was in charge of arranging the festivities for tonight. Festivities that Celine didn’t exactly approve of.

We’d been married for two years now. Happily so, it was just that she didn’t like the idea of me associating with some stripper at a bachelor party. Especially since she was going to be stuck in the hotel room all night alone, while I was out partying. I’d told her, that I had no intention of messing around. But, a lot of Tom’s friends were still single. This was the kind of party they all expected. My explanation didn’t seem to hold much water in her estimation. Neither of us had done the whole bachelor/bachelorette party thing. We’d just eloped. Hell, neither of us had the money for a big wedding. But, with Tom? Well, let’s just say money was no object. He wanted the whole nine yards.

Candy had been a lucky find for me. She was experienced at this type of thing and was willing to… Um… Offer certain services? Not that I intended to participate, but just try and convince Celine of that. The whole extent of my involvement with Candy tonight, was supposed to be collecting the money from anybody that wanted to sample her talents. Guilty by association, I guess. I suppose there was some justification there.

Well… Did she have any recommendations? she suggested.

Nope, I did think to ask, but she couldn’t offer any assistance. I have no idea what I’m going to do. Fuck! Tom’s been my best friend for years, and the one thing he’s ever asked of me, I fail at. Hell, he was my best man at our wedding.

I know, Sweetie. I don’t really know him, but I realize that you and Tom go way back. But, I have no idea what to tell you. It’s not like I tend to associate with… Well, that type of woman, she smirked.

Really? I snickered. Gee, I never would have guessed.

What’s that supposed to mean? she huffed.

You’re a little too refined to associate with strippers, Ceil. That’s all. I couldn’t even imagine you in that type of situation.

Well, it’s not like I couldn’t, you know? I still look damn good in a bikini, she informed me.

Ceil? Honey? I never said you didn’t. You’re gorgeous. Believe me, I know that. I just could never imagine you… Well, doing that type of thing. That’s all, I explained. Hoping that my explanation was enough to head off what was coming.

You don’t seem to mind fantasizing about it? she teased.

Fantasy is a long way from reality, Sweetie. At any rate, I guess I’d better get up and start hitting the phones. See if I can find somebody on short notice. Otherwise… Hell, I don’t even know. I can’t picture letting him down. But…

Okay, you get up and try and find your ‘stripper’ for tonight, she mumbled, then rolled over and went back to sleep. Her long dark hair cascading down her back. Her very bare back, that I would much rather be stroking at the moment.

Honestly, I didn’t know how successful I’d be at finding anybody. We had to leave in just six hours for the plane flight. I didn’t know anybody where Tom lived. Just try lining up something like this, three states away, on short notice. Shit! I was so screwed. I didn’t even know the other men who’d be at the party. They were just friends of Tom’s. My sum total of knowledge about tonight, was that I had the suite booked at the hotel, and there would be six groomsmen in attendance, plus Tom and myself. And, there
