Sometimes you have a story in you that you feel the need to write down. Then you erase it. Then you rewrite it. Before you know it, 6 years have passed and you are still writing that same story. Its become your child. You raise it. Nurture it until its ready to go out into the world. Its not complete. But it has enough to survive until it's purpose it revealed. Hi. I'm normal. I'm a mom. Wife. Daughter. Sister. Friend. Yes in that order. I normally don't know how to best describe myself. My son believes that I know everything. My husband relies on me fix everything. My Mothers (birth, step, and in-laws) expect for me to be everywhere. My sisters and brothers, don't really know me. I'm the oldest. I'm suppose to be mysterious and aloof. As for my friends, lets just say I have them in categories. Ones that know the more serious me. Ones that know the more fun me. And there's the two that know everything about me and still love me in spite of it. I don't claim to be a writer. Hell, I've barely written one book. I hope you enjoy what I've written. I'm not scared of honest feedback.

Chapter 16

Paris is for lovers

A week in Paris is usually every girl’s dream. This is my third trip here and I am finally getting out to see the city from the ground level. I wanted to see the museums even the TVG. I arrived there two days after Christmas. I got checked into the hotel and unpacked. The excitement of the week masked the nervousness I was having about actually being out in public with Robert. We figured since it was cold out we can wrap in heavy coats and scarfs and no one would be the wiser. Once I was unpacked I called Robert’s phone to see when he was getting in. He didn’t answer so I left him a voicemail letting him know what room I was in. With Christmas behind us, we knew that it would easy to get away from work and responsibilities. As for this girlfriend of Robert’s I was prepared for a cancellation but never got one so here I am. Waiting. A couple of hours pass without a word. I order some food and try Robert’s cell again. Still no answer. Eventually there’s a knock at the door. Standing there isn’t either of the people I was expecting. It was Henry.

What are you doing here?

May I come in first?

Sure. I said as I stepped back to let him in then closing the door.

Robert is running late. He won’t be here until tomorrow. So I came to keep you company.

What do you mean late?

Larissa wanted him to spend the weekend with her before she left for Spain. So he’s doing that. He called me when you arrived asking me to tell you what was going on. He said to say that he’s really sorry and will make it up to you.

London. Well I guess I had better get a good look at Paris tonight seeing how I’ll probably be going home tomorrow.

London? Going home? What are you talking about? He’ll be here tomorrow. He promised. Look why don’t we go get something to eat and talk about this?

I’ve already order room service. Let me call down to cancel it.

Once I made my call and wrapped myself in my winter wear we headed out. We walked past the ice rink outside of the Hotel de Ville. We talked about his new girlfriend Josephine. They’ve only been dating for a couple of months. She’s from another royal family so it’s seen as a perfect match. I tell him about my family’s
