The Real Destiny's Child - Harris Rosen
An Excerpt of The Real Destiny’s Child
We each have different traits about us. I’m serious, and I’m like the mother of the group. I’m like the one that’s gonna say ‘Alright y’all, we need to do this and we need to do that.’
Kelly is sensitive. Kelly is the ‘Why can’t we all just get along?’ type. And LaTavia is the sassy one. She's the real one that’s going to break it down and be real.
And LeToya is the one that if everything goes tight, or says something, she's also the ‘Why can't we all just get along?’ But in a happier, in a joking way. You know how if you're serious and tired just like somebody there that is gonna make a joke to make everything better, that's LeToya.
So when you put it all together, it’s a good combination, and that’s how we’ve gotten the chance to deal with each other and work together for so long.

image2.jpegIt’s like your sister. We’re just like sisters. Sisters get into arguments but eventually they talk about things. I mean, it’s like our love is deeper than this group and it’s deeper than an argument. You might be mad for a day or two but we get over it.

Destiny’s Child was groomed from elementary school age to flourish in the music business. Every little step skillfully crafted from choreographed dance routines and image through the music and lyrics. By design, they launched November 11, 1997, with the infectious uptempo No, No, No (Part 2)
featuring Sony guest assassin Wyclef Jean. It served to introduced them to the world in style hitting number 3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and selling over 1 million copies. The debut self-titled album, Destiny’s Child , followed on February 17, 1998, it maintained the young quartet’s warm reception by selling over 1 million
