About this ebook
5 star review from amazon says, "I was curious about this book since I was somewhat involved in the theater way back in high school. I think our productions would have gone a lot better if I had this information back then. It is well written and laid out in a logical way. If I ever get involved again, I will definitely bring this book along." Did everyone just look at you and say, "Hey! YOU'RE the one who can pull this off!" Your stomach flipped, you didn't have the heart to say no, and now you're facing the enormous task of directing and producing your church's or community theater's next theatrical production without a clue where to start. Don't worry - Jan & Don Beasley have a combined total of 60+ years in the industry and have created this awesome little gem of a book to help make your Production as fun as a P.A.R.T.Y.! Includes not only great tips and tricks of the trade, but also information on how to grab your free copies of several useful forms! Written in English.

ATTN FANS! Get'em while you still can for FREE! "Worlds of Hidden Earth" (formerly known as "Hidden Earth Series") will be launching as a brand new series with a bold new look in the future - thanks to 12:30 Media. (Sneak Peek of book 1 cover is already up and that book will be free for a little while longer - the rest of the new-look--books will be releasing throughout the year). At that point ebooks will no longer be free - they won't break the bank, but they won't be free. So get'em while you still can for FREE! Thanks for being the most awesome fans on the planet!!!Regarding Janet's epic fantasy series "World of Hidden Earth," (the late) Betty Dravis said, "Kudos to Beasley for pulling off this lengthy saga in grand style, for giving us so many surprise twists and turns, for giving us life lessons on morality without being preachy, and for a very satisfactory ending. All of that without any profanity, explicit sex or vulgarity of any kind, making this a book suitable for kids of all ages. If this magical book were a movie--which it should be--I picture it on a colossal scale like "Lord of the Rings." If it were a painting, it would be like Paul Cezanne's "The Card Players" which sold for $259 million dollars, the most expensive painting ever sold to date. Hollywood, are you listening?"If you are looking for an award winning, best selling, 5 star author who leaves you wanting more in the realms of inspirational epic high fantasy, historical fiction, and life applicable non-fiction you have found her! ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
We would like to say a big thanks to our parents, who always believe in us no matter how crazy our ideas seem. And where would we be without Nita, Patty, Mari, and the rest of that crazy production gang who inspired us to never give up. And thanks to God for instilling these gifts in each of us.
Also, and most importantly, a very special thanks to you, the reader. We wish you a production adventure that proves to be as fun as ours have always been.
INTRODUCTION
We all know that, when it comes to any sort of production, it ain't cheap.
It costs more than money. When trying to figure out everything for the first time it can certainly seem overwhelming—even defeating—mentally, physically, and financially. This does not mean that your ideas are bad or wrong. If you’ve purchased this book, you probably have good taste, great ideas, and a strong preference for excellence—but you just need some extra help to get over the hump.
The following information will help you become familiar with some basics of what needs to take place before, during, and after a production while striving to stay within your budget. Pulling it off successfully requires time, perseverance, and patience, all of which come into play from the onset.
