At that point ebooks will no longer be free - they won't break the bank, but they won't be free. So get'em while you still can for FREE! Thanks for being the most awesome fans on the planet!!!Regarding Janet's epic fantasy series "World of Hidden Earth," (the late) Betty Dravis said, "Kudos to Beasley for pulling off this lengthy saga in grand style, for giving us so many surprise twists and turns, for giving us life lessons on morality without being preachy, and for a very satisfactory ending. All of that without any profanity, explicit sex or vulgarity of any kind, making this a book suitable for kids of all ages. If this magical book were a movie--which it should be--I picture it on a colossal scale like "Lord of the Rings." If it were a painting, it would be like Paul Cezanne's "The Card Players" which sold for $259 million dollars, the most expensive painting ever sold to date. Hollywood, are you listening?"If you are looking for an award winning, best selling, 5 star author who leaves you wanting more in the realms of inspirational epic high fantasy, historical fiction, and life applicable non-fiction you have found her! We were the founders/owners of MULTI-TECH PRODUCTIONS, INC., in Central Florida. Opening in 1998 and retiring in 2017 our company specialized in theatrical stage productions, along with design and installation of audio-visual systems, especially those by theaters, churches, restaurants, schools, and other commercial establishments. We have been published in trade-specific magazines, and we have developed training classes and the accompanying curricula. We have served as facilitators and exhibited at international conferences nationwide for a combined total of 60+ years. We currently serve as KidMins, music leaders, and VBS set creator specialists. This book is a product of the knowledge we have gathered from our formal education in the theatrical field and our history of hands-on experiences. The tactics described in this book are, by no means, the only way to bring forth a top-notch production, but we hope the information we have provided will be helpful, give you ideas, and spark your creativity.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
We would like to say a big thanks to our parents, who always believe in us no matter how crazy our ideas seem. Thanks to all of our newfound friends for convincing us anything is possible if you only believe. And thanks to God for instilling these gifts in each of us.
And a special thanks to you, the reader. We wish you a production adventure that proves to be as fun as ours have always been, and always will be.
INTRODUCTION
Theatrical visions of grandeur at the onset of planning a production are usually dismissed when budget reality is revealed. Thoughts of special effects using scrims or fiber optic curtains will be brushed aside causing discouragement before the production process even starts. Well, be discouraged no more! We have already been through that process for you. We have had the...privilege?...of having to create, invent, and fudge
the looks we wanted.
We hope this book will help spark your imagination and creativity to do the same. The ideas in this book are some of our fudge
recipes, and you are more than welcome to use them, in addition to the ones you create. Please remember that there are some things you cannot fudge;
others can be fudged
up to a certain point, but safety must always be considered first, before the appearance of the finished product. There have been times when set pieces, props, and costumes were designed and constructed and reached completion only to be round filed.
These have been the times we have found to be the most beneficial; we learn very quickly what does NOT work. The key is to accept it as an educational lesson, not merely a frustrating one.
Keep smiling, sit back, relax, grab your favorite snack, and let your imagination run wild as you take a journey with us through the land of THEATRICAL FUDGE.
