About this ebook

An article recently appeared on the Guardian's website criticizing the US evangelist Franklin Graham. This short essay is a response to the article. I don't necessarily seek to defend Franklin on every point; rather, I seek to defend religious fundamentalism.

As opposed to sending this to your email inbox where it would doubtless meet its end unnoticed and/or unread, I’ve decided to write to you in an open format. Let’s go through some of the article now, step by step. By the way, I’m not necessarily a super-staunch defender of Franklin Graham. There are many things about him that I like and some things that I do not like, as I’ll relate. I’m seeking rather to defend fundamental believers of all faiths.

For starters, I can’t help but think that the people at the Guardian could have chosen a better picture of the man. I really didn’t want to see inside his nostrils. Why is it that when liberals don’t like someone
