Caroline knew that her husband, David, was fucking around on her again.

When he did come home, he was surly, snappish, and complained about everything, including herself.

Many nights, he didn't even come home. He said he had to work late and just slept in his office.

He was a president in a bank consortium, and had a suite with a private shower.

Caroline had gotten proof of him fucking his personal assistant. But the assistant had now gone elsewhere.
