Preface

I wanted to invite you to meditate on the Bible verses I'll be writing about in this book. Meditating can be just simply think about a subject and, over time, decide if it is something of value to you or not. However I would like you to consider meditation in this way.

The type of meditating I'm talking about is comparable to eating. Let's use eating an apple as an example.

Let's say you're looking at an apple sitting in your hand. Looking at the apple can be compared to reading the words of the particular scripture I have written out in whatever verse you are reading.

Taking a bite out of the apple can be the same as allowing the words you have read into your mind. The action of chewing the apple is the same as thinking about the verse you are considering. The action of chewing can be considering its context or even just mulling it over in your mind.
