About this ebook

Jake Louisburg hadn’t intended to make a movie about Izzabel Parsons. He held her diary in his hand and inhaled the scent of sweet cedar that lingered on it still. It was so long ago. He could have left her death classified as an accident, but shouldn’t Montgomery Kole have to pay for taking her away from him? Shouldn’t there be justice for Izzabel?
And so Jake Louisburg wrote his movie, The Tragedy in Trinity. It would be the movie that would dub him The Movie Man and start the investigation into Montgomery Kole’s affairs. Once the investigation was underway, Jake began working on The Tragedy in Trinity Part 2 - Justice for Izzabel.
When Avalyn Walters read that The Movie Man was working on The Tragedy in Trinity Part 2 - Justice for Izzabel, she headed to Trinity seeking her own justice.

    About the Author

    Chapter 1

The late August heat was oppressive and soon Avalyn Walters was drenched in sweat as she made her way down the main thoroughfare hoping to find someplace opened. A few irregular shops haphazardly dotted the street, but their lights were dimmed and closed signs halted anyone’s expectation otherwise. She checked her phone to see if it had a signal and again was greeted with a low battery indicator.

Feeling exhausted, she sat down on the cracked dirt and glanced around. The swings and slides were eerily unoccupied. The shadows of the evening were enveloping her quickly. She needed to find a place to stay and soon. Even little baby Sweden, who had been peaceful most of the day, began to fuss.

Hush, Sweet-pea. There’s nothing momma can do right now, Avalyn said pulling a soft cloth and a bottle of water from her diaper bag. She tipped the bottle to full height to let the last drops of water wet the cloth. With it, she wiped baby Sweden’s chubby little forehead, then her chubby little arms and legs as she cooed to her gently.

There. Better? Avalyn smiled down at her daughter and then reached back into her bag. Sweden let out a giggle as she saw her
