It is long known that scientists are difficult, unpopular people, lost in their very specialised fields, creating theories that no one understands, esteemed but not loved, of which one must learn the dreadful science lessons in school.

All of this might be true for all scientists except for Stephen Hawking.

because it is short and concise, it lacks some details that could give the story a more personal and intimate approach. The final thought explains well the author's take on Mr. Hawking's work.
