    Introduction (Please read)

First of all, I would like to say thank you for buying this book. I like to be very honest with my readers. I wanted to know that I am an everyday person just like you and the reason why I decided to write this book.

I grew up without a father for most of my life in the state of Connecticut, USA. My father passed away when I was 11 years old and I was living with a stepmother and half siblings. There was so much that my stepmother expected me to do. Things which I had no idea how to do but she expected an 11 year old to already know.

As you probably already know, I endure abuse from my stepmother, and it scarred me for life. One day when I decided to stand up to her, she kicked me out of the house, and I moved with my aunt and uncle.

I didn’t really know how to be a man and was bullied throughout middle school and high school and yes even into my early 20’s. I was depressed most of the time and coped with the pain by watching Japanese anime shows like Dragon Ball Z and played video games. Does this sound familiar. Yes, this is how boys escape their pain most of the time. Into other worlds of video games and movies because what other choice do, they have.

Eventually, I got sick and tire of being pushed around and decided to do something about it. Even my so called high school friends were still picking on me in my early 20’s. But I did not know how to stand up to them and I was not the violent type. I was wimpy and afraid to fight. So, most of the time what I ended up doing was run away from people or completely cast them out of my life.

On top of not knowing how to defend myself I didn’t really know how to get a girlfriend. Now don’t get me wrong, I had some girlfriends growing up in High School, but I was always the cuck. My girlfriends were the ones always taking charge and many times they wore the pants in the relationships.

To make things worst I could not keep a job in my early 20’s and this was also during the 2008 economic crash, so just imagine that. I was living in my aunt and uncle’s basement. I was broke most of the time. My so called friends would lie and cause ridiculous drama. I could go on.

To make this long story short, in my early 20’s I started looking for solutions and ways to change my life.

One of the crazy things I did was to volunteer at the opening of a martial arts school in my city. I told the owner that I would work for free and that I just wanted to help. I was going to a community college and I guess the owner took pity on me. I painted the walls of the martial arts school and sweep the floors. I was doing all of this because I wanted to be tougher and I thought that
