Martin Von Cannon

I was born a long time ago, but to be honest it doesn't feel that long. From an early age, I was a reader. I read everything, but mostly I focused on Fantasy Fiction. There were plenty of books on this topic, and I was rarely without a book. As I became older, I found other genres, or at least sub-genres. At this time I found myself in modern fantasy books and collecting a ton of comic books. This was that time frame that super heroes were starting to hit the big and little screens. Soon after this, I found a book called "Soon I Will Be Invincible". This was a comic book in novel format. I started to find other books soon. I put two and three together and came up with five. Modern fantasy was very super heroic, and the comic books I was reading fit in as well. Well, here I am. I have written a book and have it up here on Smashwords.

    Tinkerbelle

Tinkerbelle’s body trembled as she fought to slow her breathing, which kept the tears and wailing at bay. Uncoiling from her squatting position, she focused on Drudge’s shoulder blades. Wisps of smoke floated from his hands after blasting the guard station. She hoped any noise she made would not carry in the grand lobby of the Klein building. The stench of burnt wood mixed with flop sweat. Her throat tightened as she swallowed hard.

Ladies and gentlemen, do not fret, Drudge’s voice boomed. The lilt hung in the air and a small glint flashed in his eye. The entire look exaggerated by his greasy smirk. I am not after your meager earnings. I am after the items in the vault. Honey oozed from his words and the fear on people’s faces faltered for the span of an eye blink. He turned his face in profile, showing a single raised eyebrow and a lifted lip. No more interference and I’ll be on my way.

The large figure took his time stepping over the prone forms of the people that were caught in his attack. Tinkerbelle, with her mechanical creations, fought Drudge’s henchmen. The henchmen were now unconscious, and her robots turned into scrap. Drudge had ended the fight by demolishing the guard station. The explosion took the robots with it and wounded Tinkerbelle.

Now that Tinkerbelle was upright, her bruised and masked face darted to the random technology lying about the cavernous room. There were tablets of various sizes, cellphones, and a hearing aid. Off to one side lay three electric scooters, a coffeemaker, and a combination fax-printer-scanner device. She figured her range to be about five steps.

Extending her fingers of one hand she focused on all the technology within
