The Godlike Discipline Handbook
()
About this ebook
The Handbook is a detailed, emphatic plea for the modern individual to take their self discipline seriously, and to create the life that they have always imagined for themselves. There is no hype or false promises, only the personal strategies used by the author to become the disciplined person that he is today. The concepts are sometimes deep, sometimes obvious, and always helpful. Actionable steps are favored over complicated formulas, and there aren't any easy answers to be found in the book. This is for people who are serious about strengthening their willpower, have highly personal reasons for wanting to achieve their dreams, and aren't afraid to endure uncertainty and discomfort. This is not for the faint of heart, but readers who follow the advice of the author will be richly rewarded.

Welcome To The Handbook
Welcome to the 2016 edition of the Godlike Discipline Handbook.
Contained in this book are my absolute best strategies, tactics, and mindsets that will help anyone become more disciplined. They are meant to be adapted for your own particular temperament and situation, but the fundamentals are solid.
I'm not going to spend a lot of time hyping you up, because I'm sure that's not quite what you need. Generally, I don't spend a whole lot of time making big promises about how my work is going to change your life. I think it will, or at least has the potential to, but that's not what this handbook is about.
Discipline can transform your life by giving you focus. It will give you a focal point with which to direct all of your efforts. If you have an intensely clear vision of what you are aiming for and what it will take to get there, then making a big breakthrough is just the natural extension of your process.
It's actually achievable, and it's not incredibly difficult, although some of the things that you'll be accomplishing will seem to have been way beyond the capabilities of your former self.
You just need to work smart AND hard, and shake off the common motives of humanity, so to speak. You have to take everything superfluous and THROW IT AWAY. It means nothing to you, because it's not adding value to your life, and it's not taking you closer to your goals.
Working hard is just something that you won't be able to avoid, if you want to do big things. But I can promise you, that if you spend 80 percent of your time on the 20 percent of activities that actually make a difference in your life, you WILL succeed.
Success looks different to many people, but to me, success is all about increasing human flourishing, including my own. Sure, I want to be comfortable and be able to afford to have a spectacular life. But this life is open to every sentient being, and we have a responsibility to them to ensure that they have the same opportunities for happiness that we do. Or at least similar opportunities for happiness. That is the common thread that connects all my goals to each other.
See, the problems of the world require real discipline to solve, and we all need to be awake. You can't help anyone if you yourself are struggling, and that thought
