About this ebook

The story is told of a godly father giving advice to his two adolescent children while they are preparing a family meal. They have a phenomenal new recipe to try as well as a deep conversation about personal finance. The father answers several questions the teenagers have regarding money management, retirement plans, debt, and a few other things that are relevant to the subject. He explains it using the Heavenly Father's blueprint in a very basic way so that any late teen, young adult, parent, or educator should be able to grasp. His prayer is that these principles can be passed down from generation to generation in order for his family to always be well positioned economically.

    Preface

The study of God's Word and Finance are two things I'm very passionate about. I believe the Heavenly Father provides a blueprint on how we can be most effective in our day to day living. Managing money happens to be something that impacts almost every one of us in some capacity. That's why I took a journey to link what God says about the topic in hopes to better my financial situation and possibly help others. My goal was to write in a manner that would be consistent with believers in general. If someone is Christian as I am, Jewish, or Muslim for instance, these principles should still be applicable to them and their families. I can attest firsthand that after applying them to my life, my situation started to turn around in less than a year and continues to get better in a number of ways.

The story is told of a father giving advice to his two adolescent children while they are preparing a family meal. They have a phenomenal new recipe to try as well as a deep conversation about personal finance. The father answers several questions either the children or people they know have regarding money management, retirement plans, debt, and a few other things that are relevant to the subject. He explains it in a very basic way so that any teenager or adult should be able to grasp. His hope is that these principles can be passed down from generation to generation in order for his family to always be well positioned economically.

Growing up in an east Baltimore housing projects, I didn’t have anyone who really took the time to break down these lessons for me at an early age. There were questions and situations that I saw impacting my family financially but no one seemed to teach best practices in my neighborhood. We weren’t surrounded by Wall Street managers, accountants, or financial planners.
