About this ebook

Kassandra lived a simple life on her farm near Athens, protected from the world by her father. But her world is upended when she is chosen as one of the seven female sacrifices for the Minotaur. In a flash, she is taken from her farm, and finds herself on a ship bound for the Labyrinth.

The other sacrifices all have plans on how they will face the Minotaur: some will hide, while others are planning to fight, including her best friend, Myrrine. But Kassandra has a different plan - she’s going to seduce the beast in the Labyrinth.

It will take every ounce of self control she has to face the beast, and offer up her body to him. She has heard tales of how powerful, and even sexy the monster is, but nothing has prepared her for how the Minotaur will ravish her.

This story is approximately 8,000 words long.

Product warning – This book contains sexually explicit scenes, with a surprisingly sexy Minotaur taking a Greek maiden.

The wooden ship glided over the wine-dark sea, rows of oars dipping into the water in perfect unison and rising after powerful strokes. Kassandra stood near the railing, watching the storm clouds gather above, the tangy scent of sea water strong in the air.

She closed her eyes and fervently prayed to Poseidon to sweep the ship away. To blow it off course, far from Crete and the doom that awaited her and the other young men and women from Athens. But when she opened her eyes, nothing had happened, and the shape of the gloomy shores of Crete continued to grow in the horizon.

Are you praying to the gods again? Myrrine asked, punching her playfully in the shoulder.

Kassandra rubbed her shoulder and glared at the tall women with flowing hair the color of onyx. Her angular face could have graced a statue of Venus, and more than a few men had competed for her hand back in Athens.

You shouldn’t mock my prayers. The gods may send ill favor your way.

What more can the gods do to me? she asked, laughing in her throaty voice. The fates have already decreed I am destined to face the Minotaur.

Kassandra’s eyes widened with alarm. You risk the wrath of the gods saying that. The very wrath that created the monster who will devour us.

Myrrine leaned against the railing, and arched her back as she stared out across the water. You know my plan to slay the Minotaur. She turned and smiled at Kassandra. No one is devouring my friend.

I hope you’ll succeed. But none returned from the first sacrifices, and many of our finest warriors were among them.

None of the first group were warriors nearly as skilled as me, Myrrine said. I’m sure I can best a mad beast.

Perhaps, Kassandra replied, trying not to betray the
