About this ebook

John Lensing is in a mental institution in Pretoria, South Africa, awaiting trial for murder and numerous other crimes. A court-appointed team of psychiatrists probe into his past to determine the cause of his psychosis.

What they find is a labyrinth of madness in a confused individual.

Raised in a strict religious household and, having been sheltered from the outside world for most of his life, John was immediately attracted to a hedonistic lifestyle of drugs and debauchery he was coaxed into by a free-spirited, tattooed goddess.

Triggered by the drugs and fuelled by the abusive memories he had suppressed, John’s mental state altered as he went from socially awkward to violent and obsessive.

Writer; story-teller and cynic. I have lived for a couple of years now, seen many great things and experienced great moments. I have met many people in my life and in each of these people I have found things that fascinate me. I have been blessed with good friends and not so good friends; intelligent enemies and some unfortunately not so, but I have found that all people deep down share similar fears and hates. All people have things that make them uncomfortable, even if we don't know what those things are. It is this that has attracted me to writing along with the too many near-death experiences I have had - long story and I promise to get to it sometime. But the near-deaths don't bother me and in fact it is because of these I have cultivated a greater appreciation for life. I enjoy exploring abstract issues such as religion, sex, insanity, drugs and love and in my writing I am inspired by these things and the impact of them on peoples' lives. I feel drawn to the concept of 'what if?' moments people experience. Pretty much; I enjoy exploring the darker side of nearly everything. And while my work might not be for everyone and the stories I tell might make people uncomfortable, I think they need to be told. Because of this I will tell them..
