      What is a world if not a collection of strangers? The embittered thought crept into Raggie’s mind with each passing push of a petal. He inwardly swore to himself time after time as he drew to a stop. They’re nothing to me. He continued, not even noting the passing traffic of the road he was about to join. Empty, walking, soulless puppets that care nothing for me and my existence. Most of them don’t even care about the person next to them. He shook his head as he cursed the red light that blocked his progress, forcing the injustice down into his stomach. Raggie’s mind raced with injustice; all day, every day. The world was emblazoned with it as far as he was concerned. He wallowed is his own exalted self-pity.

      About time! He shot out loud as the traffic light changed to amber. His mood had been dark from the moment his alarm had woken him. The weather had not stopped raining all morning and Raggie had seen this as a sign that the world including everyone else within it was against him. He cursed to himself again as the car behind him revved loudly, sounding impatient. What!? The skinny cyclist shouted over his shoulder in fury whilst pushing with his legs. The cycle eased forward through the collection of puddles, passing into the joining traffic to the sound of screeching. The
