      EXT. – TOWN SQUARE/ CLIFFSIDE TEMPLE – MORNING

      (Scene opens on a crowd of people gathered in the town square, looking up at one of the Disciples of Aphrodite. Cut to a shot of the disciple, Gale, who is disguised as a government official. There are two cannons set up behind her.)

      GALE

      I realize that traditionally this honor belongs to the mayor of Lágnos. Unfortunately, his time has been monopolized dealing with the recent breeches in security. In order to continue keeping this island safe, the mayor has permitted me to take over some of his responsibilities. (Gesturing for the people behind her to fire the cannons.) Now without further ado, let the Lágnos Festival of Love begin!

      (Cut to a full shot as the cannons fire and confetti shoots all over the crowd. Close-up on one piece of confetti as it drifts up into the sky. Then pan down onto a full shot of the Cliffside Temple where Wilt, Lana, Jasmine, and Jade are all standing by the entrance.)

      JASMINE

      Sounds like it’s finally started.

      LANA

      What is taking Duke and the Mistress so long?

      WILT

      I knew we shouldn’t have taken separate cars.

      JADE
