Rosa Giles

I am a Scottish author and been writing since I was ten years old. I first started writing songs and then later short stories. I spent many years writing poetry and in 2014 published my first novel. I have a love of walking on beaches, reading, music and studying people. Never a more true quote than its people who will surprise you not nature! I lived on a remote Scottish Island for five years, and spent many an hour wandering down by the sea. It a place for me where I can just be myself and have the much needed thinking time I seem to crave. I love chatting to people too and where most of my idea come from, just the odd sentence or even a word, or a name can form a new and exciting character. The Bluebell Wood was released in the UK in 2014 and had excellent reviews on Amazon. The Sequel The Shetland Gypsy is a story set on a remote Scottish island and was published in January 2017. Rosa Giles Before Pink Dusk is my first erotic fantasy books and aimed to excite, surprise. As well as writing I also teach presentation skills and coach in delivering good speeches. I released Perfect Presentation in December 2017 and is a really useful booklet on helping you gain the skills you need to assist you when speaking in Public. Currently I am getting prepared to release my new novel Finding Claire which will be out in March 2018 and is a story based on a women, who goes on her own journey after discovering her husband has been cheating on her. Writing for me is a need and not a want, and simply, a passion.

Burlesque—One

The smell of deep, rich red wine and bitter cigar smoke was the first thing that struck the couple as they entered the revolving door from the road outside, which took them into a room. The door had a sign upon it which stated in a discreet pale pink and a background of inky black that you were about to enter The House of Ruby.

The dulcet tones of what sounded like a mature lady with a husky voice sang out from the depths of the building. Exactly where the sounds were coming from was a mystery as they were certainly placed strategically somewhere in the background. The words she sang were dark and captivating, nothing was less and welcome to burlesque. One of the sexiest women Natalie had ever seen stood, legs apart, on the stage directly in the middle of a dark wooden floor with discreet floodlights around it.

She wore a red basque, tied tightly, with studs in the middle. It sat low and made the curve of her breasts swell, and they looked like ripe crème puffs. Her deep, enticing cleavage completed the look. Her hair was loose and as red as her outfit. Her locks fell to just above the start of the swell of her gorgeous bosoms and were set in little curls. She wore a red beret and below the basque, which looked like it was sprayed on to her body, were satin briefs. She had ivory-coloured stay-ups on her extremely shapely legs and her long fingernails were painted a high glossy black. Her skin was like cream and for some unknown reason, Natalie felt mesmerised by her.

The lady in red was already entertaining the audience who had clearly arrived sometime before they had. She was moving her limbs in a seductive almost slow-motion method. She was clearly experienced in the art of dance and knew how to work her audience. Their waiter guided them through the room where ahead lay an array of circular, white linen-clad tables filled with groups of people. Some were just couples sitting at tables by themselves. Those in groups seemed a little more gregarious and perhaps a tad braver, being part of a crowd, or maybe they were regulars. The waiter indicated that they should sit at one of the corner booths, which gave them an excellent view of the stage. Peter’s eyes were also riveted on the view before him and Natalie smiled to herself thinking that this was quite a nice surprise for her husband’s forty-fifth birthday present.
