IF indeed a loaded book has more real wealth than a loaded bank
then this is one of the richest books you will ever read.
To start with the author epitomizes the fact that your BACKGROUND is not a reason for your BACK to be on the GROUND forever; with God's help & other destiny helpers (
in his case his adorable mum, a 'brother' he affectionately calls daddy and a lovely wife).
The author has put into the hands of his children and indeed the world at large what he was not fortunate to have received from his own father (because of untimely death). The burden this book brings is that now IGNORance is not non-availability of knowledge but a choice to IGNORE it.
Do not be deceived, though life is in phases and men are in sizes this book is for every man (or lady) no matter your size or phase of life.
I plead with you to read this great book several times and then get it for others because it contains wisdom you should share with others. Due to your lack of time or talent to do so beautifully you might as well get it for them; because if you loan them yours don't be surprised they might borrow it permanently.

Appreciation
I want to thank my dear wife Mary for her invaluable help and co-operation in making this book happen. It would have been immensely more difficult without you. I also want to thank my boys Daniel, David and Derek for their understanding especially during the writing of this book.
Thanks to Lauren More for your help with the editing. To Reiko Mirabueno and Derek Eniolu for the concept and design of the front cover
Most of all glory and praise be to my Lord and Saviour, for birthing this through me, for strengthening and inspiring me. I am humbled and grateful Lord!
Preface
I am not as young as I used to be, though I have been told a few times that I look younger than I really am—but I am not fooled by that. I acknowledge the brevity of life and so what I intend to do is use my remaining days much more wisely than I have ever done. I know I possibly sound like an aged patriarch at the end of his life’s journey, but that’s certainly not the case, I have long to go yet! I do expect to see your children and possibly their children too, but what I am doing is preparing for the inevitability of death, for there is A time to be born and a time to die
[1]. Not that I am worried about death. After all, death is nothing more than a transitioning to a higher life, but I refuse to let it meet me unprepared.
Some have said that life is a journey, so if it is, then I have travelled far and long and have in the process gained much wisdom and it is my desire to communicate the wisdom I have gained over the years, to help prepare you for your own life’s journey.
My father, as you would recall from my various stories, passed away when I was only five years old. He didn't see much of my life, neither did he have the opportunity of passing on to me some of the wisdom he'd gained in life. He did not have the privilege of seeing my wife or playing with his grandsons. From what I heard though, he was a good man, but life just didn't allow us to get to know much of each other. I, on the other hand, have been blessed and I feel really privileged—privileged to have been there at your births, to see you all grow, see you crawl, walk, heard your first word, to see you eat your first meals. So many memories flood my heart and give me so much joy. Still I am not sure how much of a good dad I have been, and I often wonder what you think of me as a father. The problem is, nothing prepares you for this crucial assignment. I am not making any excuses, not at all. I know I’m flawed and imperfect, but let me just state here categorically: you mean the world to me! You are so special in every way, and I am so honoured to be your dad. I may not be perfect, but I love you perfectly. Cheesy, eh? Yet I really and truly mean it.
What I am going to be sharing with you, I hope you inscribe on the tablets of your heart. Treat these words with honour and respect for these are eternal truths—truths that shaped my life, that took a boy like me from the dunghill and made me what I am. Truths that took an orphan like me and not only gave me hope but a great future. These truths are not peculiar to me, neither are they new. They existed long before I was born, but the sad thing is, many have overlooked them to their peril. I can assure you, child, if you hold these truths dearly in your heart, imbibe them and practice them, you will be unstoppable. If I could come this far from nothing, imagine what you could do, starting off from where you are. You are favoured, child! You are so blessed to be commencing your life’s journey on the shoulders of giants; therefore, greatness is inevitable for you. You must, however, hold these truths dear to your heart. Don't only mentally agree with them, but let them infuse
