Christ's desire is that all men will be restored and experience good health. It is essential for man to know that diseases and sicknesses are not from the Lord, but they are instead orchestrated and delivered unto man by the devil. God, who is the creator of mankind and the restorer of our souls, inhabits and encompasses the realm of healing. Healing is granted unto us by God, and it was supplied to us through a part of his Triune nature, Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for us on Calvary not only covers over a multitude of sins, but it also delivers us from the hands of the fowler and supplies man with healing. Healing is a manifestation of the nature of God, and God desires for man to know this nature, claim it, and possess it. I Declare that Christ Heals Thee stems from the Spirit of God and his answer to his people. People often wonder why the world is succumbing to evil and diseases, and God's answer resides in man focusing and keeping their eyes upon him. God wants to clear up a common misconception that he allows evil and diseases to come upon man. God is a Spirit who only bears witness with truth, peace, and healing. He is not a Spirit that operates out of deception, discord, or disease. God's message is clear in this text; he is the grantor of healing and he wants his chosen generation of people healed!

PREFACE

Healing is not reserved for Biblical times. Healing is present in the atmosphere now, and as recipients of God's Kingdom, we have the authority to walk in his great gift(s) for us. We also have the authority to attach healing to ourselves, especially since it was already fought for, died for, and granted unto us as a result of Christ's sacrifice for us on the cross. I Declare that Christ Heals Thee is a text dedicated to those who need God's direction and his healing power within their lives. It aims to refocus the thoughts of God's people, and direct them toward his grace, mercy, and goodness. It is my desire that the words within this book will empower those who need healing from God or equip others to allow the Spirit of Jesus to come forth from within them in order to aid in delivering healing to others. I pray that each individual reading this book will benefit from the presence of God that has come forth through this penmanship, and that their hearts, souls, and bodies will be restored and rededicated to Jesus Christ.

The steps, prayers, and petitions within this book can be tailored to meet the individual needs of the individual. The chapter on healing scriptures should not be read through only once. One should use these scriptures daily in remembrance of God's word and decrees surrounding healing. As flowers need water and sunlight to grow, the spirit needs God's word and constant rereading of his word to foster one's spiritual growth. When the word of God is deeply rooted and planted within our hearts, God will water the seed and make it grow. We will walk in the authority that Jesus Christ has granted us through his sacrifice and establish God's healing covenant with man within our lives.

Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed (Psalm 6:2, King James Version).

CHAPTER ONE - DELIVERANCE

The topic of healing encompasses various areas. One can be healed physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It is important for one to remember that when he or she present themselves to Christ for healing, one must go boldly before him with their request and they must voice what they are seeking to be delivered from. It is necessary to identify what one needs to be delivered from before actual healing can be obtained.

The act of healing is a manifestation of an individual identifying the culprit (sickness), having faith that the culprit can be removed, and sustaining one's healing by continuing to walk in faith and the belief that he or she has been restored. Healing does not precede man's acceptance of the idea that they are sickly or living in sin. True healing stems from the realization that man is a sinner and cannot cure his own diseases or spiritual blockages. True healing takes place when we have humbled ourselves enough to know that the body or emotions are not operating as they should, and realize that we need to be delivered from such bondage.

There are many things in the environment that can bombard our physical and spiritual bodies. One must deal with a changing environment and adapt to many pathogens that invade our world. One must also deal with the flight and plight of emotions that constantly rage within our minds. There are many things that can come upon us and limit our effectiveness, especially our effectiveness when serving God. The hustle and bustle of everyday life is enough to weigh one's spirit and physical body down. Man must accept the fact that every day he lives, leads him one step closer to the grave. An individual’s effectiveness on Earth is dictated by God. How far one goes on Earth is dictated by the state of his or her physical body and emotional state.

WHAT IS A DISEASE?

A disease is brought into existence when things within the body operate contrary to what God originally engineered it to do. When God's original plan is violated and attacked, diseases transpire and infiltrate the body and spirit of man. A disease process is a tool utilized by Satan that attacks one's physical body in an effort to consume the soul. For example, a disease such as cancer invades the flesh in an effort to inflict harm and pain in the heart of a person, so that he or she may lose faith or lose the battle of life. When someone loses the battle of life, they cannot fulfill the work of the Kingdom of God in which he has implanted within their soul.

Furthermore, a disease is a dark abyss that bores a hole through the flesh and spirit of an individual. A disease has a life force of its own, and it does not follow the laws of science. It is a free agent on the lookout for a victim in which it can consume. A disease is an invader, an unwanted intruder. It travels throughout the physical body of man in search of any seed of God planted within them, so that it may destroy it. A disease process cannot be stopped unless it has been eradicated from the body and stopped in its tracks. Otherwise, it goes on and on until it overwhelms the host and causes them to experience death.

ORIGIN OF DISEASES

When man was created, there was no such thing as diseases. Man was created in a pure, non-hostile environment. He was considered a friend of God and not at enmity with him. After the fall of man, diseases entered into the world because of the broken covenant between God and man. Man was no longer sheltered and protected by God's all mighty power since he chose to take his own way and depart from the life that God created for him.

At present, mankind is in a fallen state. As a result of being in a fallen state, men and women have become susceptible to various diseases. The condition of humanity’s heart is at odds with how God engineered them. As a result, the purity of God's creation is being attacked by the enemy in an attempt to permanently sever the tie between God and man. It is important to remember that We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, behind every disease process, there is an angel of darkness at work. Every major disease that man has faced since the beginning of time was created and orchestrated by Satanic forces.

Currently, creation is not in a pure state. It has been tainted and soiled with the act(s) of sin and debauchery. Man's unrepentant heart aids in the battle against the flesh. Some people believe that healing comes from doctors and nurses or that they can naturally heal themselves. They believe that they somehow harvest the power to heal, a trait that Mother Earth instilled within each and every one of us. Mankind is sadly mistaken. This is a doctrine that is rooted in demons and must be purged from the belief system of the church.

When a man or woman gives all of the glory to themselves, there is none left to give to God. God demands all of the glory, not ourselves. When we are not humbled and in submission to the word of God, we allow curses and diseases to be brought upon our flesh. The word of God, thus the armor of God, cannot be applied to our lives and cover our sins and diseases. We have stepped away from the shield that was placed here to protect us. We have strayed away from the right path of God.

Before one can dive into the context of healing and how one can obtain healing and remain healed, we must accept our mistakes and our wrongdoings toward God. Man must repent for his lack of knowledge and ask for knowledge from God. We must bow down on our knees and call out to our Father who has created us. He has covered all of our sins and all of our diseases. We will find this truth when we denounce every Satanic stronghold over our lives and realize the blessings and peace that God has waiting for us.

I urge you to not continue reading this book if you are not ready to be completely healed and restored by God. Do not read the following pages if you are not ready to have a dramatic encounter with Jesus Christ, our healer. I dare you to turn and walk away if you are not ready to experience his glory in new ways. It is my belief that the prayers and affirmations in this book will provide your body with complete healing. If you are able to take God at his word, have faith, and trust his word, healing will come upon you mightily.

GUARD YOUR HEART AND MIND

First, a person must prepare themselves and guard their heart and mind against diseases. A disease process manifests when we are sick in spirit, therefore there lies an entry point within our spirit in which Satan can enter and attack us. When there are holes in our spirit that are not filled with Christ's word and his eternal habitation in our hearts and minds, we become susceptible to the enemy. We are not in the right alignment with Christ, but in some way we are friends with the world around us.

One should continuously fix their eyes upon the word of God. You should never detach yourself from the pure word of God. The Bible tells us that we should attend to the word, let the word not depart from our eyes, and keep them in the midst of our heart for they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22). Residing in Christ's Spirit is true resurrection power. We walk in the true power of God. Therefore, what is internal and external should be holy. If one stays in right alignment with Jesus Christ, the internal and external will be made as holy as man is capable of becoming. One is not only transformed in the spirit, but also transformed in the flesh as well. An individual must constantly fight the sources of evil influences that reside and resonate all around us. We are facing spiritual warfare of all kinds, and it is increasing more and more each day. The devil is on the prowl, and he is seeking whom he can consume and devour (1 Peter 5:8). We must press forward as stewards of God and of his good works that have been planted inside of us. God provides healing and cleansing of our mind and spirit, and ultimately our bodies as well. Beloved, claim your healing today, because healing is of the Father. He desires for all to be well, to prosper, and to be in good health.
