      Hidden deep in the shadows of the city of New Tao creeps unnatural creatures with unnatural thoughts. Vampires, Were-beasts, Demons, and even darker, nightmarish beings. Down one dark alley, a host of demons waited for their prey.

      A young couple walked briskly down the alley. Trust me, the young man said, trying to reassure his visibly shaken girlfriend. I've taken this path loads of times. It's completely safe.

      Did you ever take it at night, she questioned.

      Um, well, no...

      There was a thud of something huge falling behind them. The couple stopped. A few more heavy things fell behind them, then something huge and red crashed into the ground before them. The body of some creature laid crumpled on the ground. It didn't budge.

      Something else landed in between the dead demon and the couple. It looked like some kind of minotaur, but blue with glowing red eyes. It stared at them and snorted. Find a different way home, the beast growled.
