About this ebook

During the year 2003, the Lord Almighty spoke to me about writing a book, on the ministry that he called me into, Praise and Worship. Deep down inside, I felt this was too big an assignment for me, and was meant only for a chosen few.

During the hot summer of 2005, while studying and living in America, I heard the same voice of the Lord again, the same scripture ringing in my ears. This time it was very loud and much clearer than before: "My beloved child I believe in you, and know that you can do this. I am going to give you the wisdom you need and direction."

I began to understand Peter*s fears in the Bible, when he first stepped out of the boat and walked on the water. Then suddenly, I felt a strong inspiration to start writing this book with such a powerful anointing. I knew the voice of God, and I know that obedience is better than sacrifice.

I continually thank God, for his divine wisdom and direction in enabling me to write this book, and for the joy that has filled my spirit while singing his praise. When the praises go up, the blessings come down. Glory!

I pray that this book will bless, and inspire all those who read it, and that you will find out for yourself how faithful our God is, and true to his word. He is to be trusted wholeheartedly.

The Lifestyle of a Worshipper - Margaret Jacqueline Nanteza Lubwama

To my late beloved mother, Esther Katana Namakula, who was only second in my life to my Jesus.

Then to my dear sisters, Betty & Jennifer, and brothers, Henry, and the late Michael.

Of course, our mother’s memories will live in our minds for eternity. She was truly an inspiration in all our lives as an excellent Godly mother. She received the gift of salvation after a divine visitation by the Lord Jesus Christ through a song while attending a Church service. Mother you are a success story behind this book, God bless you (RIP).

    Foreword

To set your life apart and dedicate it to the service of God takes more than commitment. It’s rare to find people who live upon God like Margaret. A few years back during the worship team trainings, you could see her literally get deep into worship yet rehearsing. One of her most famous saying is that, I lead people into worship and then lead them to worship my God.

Living a lifestyle of a worshipper takes more than just sessions and moments when singing and praising in Church, it’s more of how you present yourself before the Lord God Almighty.

Margaret takes her real-life spiritual encounters with God the Holy Spirit, from her childhood days to the present time, throughout her praise and worship career and ministry. Many people have been truly inspired by her singing voice, and dedication to her calling as a singer and musician.

She would love to personally share her life experiences with you all, in order to increase your faith and trust, in a God who truly loves us. Sincerely, your background, or the problems you may be going through do not matter at all. Our God is well able to intervene, and turn things around in your favor.

Margaret has an anointing and a great passion for music, but she also enjoys serving the Lord her God with all her heart, soul and spirit. She believes that this passion to follow Him, lends an authenticity and excellence to her ministry and music.

She demonstrates an anointing for encouragement among her fellow brethren, as one of the gifts that she shares with friends and family. Precisely, Margaret stands out as a committed prayer warrior, praying for Israel (Psalms 122), and persecuted Christians all over the world. She feels truly blessed to be called to such a ministry!

God bless you as you read this book, and remember that faith works by love, when you love God always. Be blessed!

    Preface

During the year 2003, the Lord Almighty spoke to me about writing a book, on the ministry that he called me into, Praise and Worship. Deep down inside, I felt this was too big an assignment for me, and was meant only for a chosen few. I spoke to the Lord about this. Lord, am I truly capable of doing this? I asked myself. Traditionally, writing involves taking risks and believing in yourself, that you can actually do it, and even excel as a successful writer and author.

The Bible says in Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. The Lord has a divine purpose for our lives. He knew us before we were formed in our mother’s wombs. Jeremiah 1:4 says, I chose you before I gave you life, and before you were born I selected you to be a prophet to the nations, and this is what strengthened me to move forward with the book writing.

During the hot summer of 2005, while studying and living in America, I heard the same voice of the Lord again, the same scripture ringing in my ears. This time it was very loud and much clearer than before: My beloved child I believe in you, and know that you can do this. I am going to give you the wisdom you need and direction.

But I still felt that I didn’t possess the skills and answered him, saying, What Lord? Me! Are you sure about this? The Holy Spirit spoke very clearly, reminding me that God never gives us more than we can handle. When we come to the end of ourselves, that’s when He steps in to take over and He is more than enough. He is truly able. I then began to realize that I just needed to put my trust in him, and that he would always remain faithful. God is not a man that he should lie. (Numbers 23:19) Heeding to the voice of the Holy Spirit, can be one of the most trying moments of a believer. But in all things, we are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus who first loved us.

I began to understand Peter’s fears in the Bible, when he first stepped out of the boat and walked on the water. Then suddenly, I felt a strong inspiration to start writing this book with such a powerful anointing. My service years as an active Church member, in the praise and worship ministry, did prepare me for the task of writing this book. I knew the voice of God, and I know that obedience is better than sacrifice.

Prior to this time, I had translated Bible tracts for the American Tract Society (ATS) in Texas, in affiliation with the International Tract Society (ITS) in the Luganda language translation. I can look back now and see that the Lord was extensively preparing me to write this book even then. Most of these tracts were distributed at home in Uganda, Africa and have touched the lives of many lost souls including the disadvantaged in our society. I continually thank God, for his divine wisdom and direction in enabling me to write this book, and for the joy that has filled my spirit while singing his praise. When the praises go up, the blessings come down. Glory!

I am grateful to God for the gift of encouragement, and the trying times we have shared with our fellow brethren. But mostly, for the privilege of worshipping him in spirit and in truth. The Bible says in Psalms 118:24, "This is the day
