About this ebook

Co-Dependency or Divorce?

What would happen to your marriage if you treated your husband, or wife, or children, the way dog-trainers tell you to treat your dogs?

Also includes how:

I taught my Beagles to come when I called them with just a few minutes of natural interaction.
[Dogs naturally want to stay with their pack.]

I house-trained my Beagles in 2 days, with just a few simple requests, and the effect lasted a life-time.
[Dogs do not want to foul their own nest.]

I taught my Beagles to mouth, and not to nip or bite, by putting my hand in their mouths while playing with them.

I taught my Beagles to walk off-lead, all around the inner suburbs of Melbourne, and to cross roads safely.

By relating to my Beagles, with kindness, understanding, and consideration.

As one intelligent being to another.
As one friend to another.

And, not by trying to dominate, manipulate, condition, or control, them, as too many dog-trainers do..

    DISCLAIMER AND DISCLOSURE

I have had four generations of Beagles.

My last was the great-grand-daughter of my first.

So I have experience with dogs from the cradle to the grave.

    Generation after generation.

Including, house-training my Beagles in less that two days – by just making a few simple requests – and the effect lasted a life-time.

And, teaching my Beagles to walk off-lead all around the inner-suburbs of Melbourne, while crossing roads safely.

    But.

    Information in this eBook,

is my personal opinion based on my personal experience,

which includes my having had four generations of Beagles.

    Information in this eBook,

is not to be taken as professional advice.

Or, as a substitute for professional advice.

In my personal opinion, professional advice from dog trainers, is often not very good, and often abusive.

In my personal opinion, professional dog trainers, often treat dogs as objects to be conditioned, by rewards, or punishments, or both.

In my personal opinion, almost all professional dog trainers I have met, are incompetent, often abusive; and do not understand dogs, or how to relate to dogs, naturally, as one intelligent being to another.

    In my personal opinion,

that if you used the incompetent,

    abusive,

    controlling methods,

    on your husband or wife,

    that almost all dog-trainers,

    I have met,

    use on dogs,

    then you would very likely,

end up with a miserable marriage,

    ending in co-dependency or divorce.

    INTRODUCTION

I have had 4 generations of Beagles.

So I have experience with dogs from the cradle to the grave.

    Generation after generation.

And, the more I talk to dog-trainers, and read what they have to say on their websites, the lower my opinion of dog-trainers gets.

I think that their ignorance of natural dog-behaviour, leads them to project their own bullying attitudes, onto dogs.

[And, then these dog-trainers accuse nice people of anthropomorphising!]

Naturally, dogs do not use choker chains, head halters, shock collars, ...

Indeed, naturally, dogs do not use leads at all.

Naturally, dogs do not use obedience, dominance, Operant-Conditioning, intimidation, crates, insult other dog's intelligence with clickers, ...

    Or, even food rewards.

Naturally, dogs do not demand that other dogs do control-freaky things like, Heel.

Naturally, dogs want to co-operate, not dominate.

Naturally, dogs want to belong, not to take over.

Naturally, dogs learn through playing with, and copying, other dogs, and people, as well as thinking things out for themselves.

    This eBook includes:

How to relate to dogs as one intelligent being to another.

How to introduce yourself to dogs the way dogs naturally do.

How to make friends with dogs the way dogs naturally do.

[Dogs are then easy to teach since dogs like to please – indeed, most dogs you make friends with, will make a point of it.]

How to teach your dogs to mouth and not to nip or bite.

[Pups naturally learn this by playing with their brothers and sisters. You can teach this by putting your hand in and out of their mouths while playing with them.]

How to lead dogs the way dogs naturally do.

[If you would lead others then first lead yourself.]

How to get your dog to come when you call with just 5 minutes, or less, of natural interaction.[Dogs come because they do not like to become separated from their pack.]

    How I house-trained my Beagles
