    Rhinoceros Cupacke contains three flash fiction pieces: “It’s Gonna Kill Me If I Kill You Now”, “PiTSD”, and “Exist”. “It’s Gonna Kill Me If I Kill You Know” is a crime piece that takes place in a cushy hotel room in downtown Manhattan. Ray, a hitman, recognizes Sterling, the man whom hired him. Ray attempts to discern his identity before killing him. “PiTSD” is a surrealistic piece surrounding a man on the night of his sister’s funeral. He flashes between present and past, reality and fantasy as he and his mother venture to a McDonalds, a seminal location in all of their lives. “Exist” is a coming of age story, set in the 1970s, and revolves around two lesbian teens running away to the mountains. After running into the Wyoming forest and reaching Devil’s Tower, the two trip on LSD and come into contact with a rainbow-colored, personified pronghorn that questions them being there.
