Truth! What The Church Will Not Teach You - D R Hann

    INTRODUCTION

This book is about what I have uncovered. As Jesus said, If you have eyes, see, and if you have ears, listen.

Jesus also spoke about religious leaders, please read Matthew, Chapter 7:21 to7:24, also Matthew, Chapter 23.

I would like to say a word about the power of God. I have seen it, I have heard it, I have felt it. Jesus said, If we had as much faith as a mustard seed, which is very tiny, then we could move mountains.

If you find me repeating myself in this book, it was only because I felt a certain point was that important to be repeated.

When I started looking for answers, it only lead to more questions.

I have learned many things about the Bible and organized religions, and what they do not teach or even tell you in church. Why? Because the church does not want you to know.

I was raised Lutheran, but the church never told me what Martin Lutheran thought about God’s chosen people, the Jews.

The Truth is the truth. It cannot be changed, but it will set you free.

Please do not take my word for what I have

written. Please do your own research. The most important thing a person can have is knowledge and truth.

I would like to thank Google search and my wife Phyllis. Without her hard and diligent work, this book would not have been possible. Thank you Phyllis.

THE HOLY HISTORY BOOK, LOOK WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO IT

Why do I call the Bible, The Holy History Book? Because that’s what it is. It is God’s History Book. It is his Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ’s, Holy History Book.

This Holy History Book all started with Moses who, it was said, penned the first five books. Some say maybe Moses only penned parts of the first five books, which are called the First Five Books, the 5 Books of Moses, The Law, The Torah, and the Pentateuch.

Moses said he was inspired by God. I believe he was, but some of his writings may have been just good Hebrew story telling.

Moses wrote about the creation of heaven and earth, and about the great flood. I believe in the creation. Maybe God created other human beings besides Adam and Eve.

The story of the great flood; there was a flood where Noah lived. Maybe to Noah this was the whole world. There had been other great floods, in other parts of the world, which pre-dates Noah’s flood.

When Noah saw the rainbow, this was a covenant of God, and in a way it was, because Noah never saw another flood.

The Tower of Babylon maybe true or could have been an old Hebrew story, as a way to

explain the different languages that came to be.

The rest of the Old Testament is filled with the great books, Psalms and Proverbs.

My favorite book is the book of Isaiah. I believe Isaiah was the greatest prophet. I truly believe Isaiah had a direct line to God, just read chapter 53. But please read the whole book of Isaiah.

When man was handed down the Bible, man got it wrong. The original Bible, the Hebrew Bible, had only twenty some books. The reason; Kings, books 1 and 2 were just one book. This might have been the same for Chronicles 1 and 2 and Samuel 1 and 2. The twelve minor prophets, Hosea through Malachi were, at one time, one book titled, „The book of the twelve.‟ But what if there were thirty nine books in the Old Testament? If this is so, then what books are missing? I think this book

    might explain it, keep reading.

Some of the books may be metaphors about

Israel’s relationship with God, because of the time in which the books were written. An example would be the book of Hosea. God told Hosea to marry a prostitute as to suffer her unfaithfulness, which could have been written as

a metaphor for Israel’s unfaithfulness towards God.

The Old Testament ends with the book of Malachi. Then there is a four hundred year gap

between the Old and New Testaments. Were there no books are written? Well, not really, there is a group of fifteen books which are entitled the Apocrypha (Deuterocanonical books) or to some, the missing books of the Bible. These books are in the Roman Catholic Bible, but no longer in the Protestant Bible. Why? Some say it was because it was not part of the original Hebrew Scriptures, but they cannot be sure.

The book of Tobit, from the Apocrypha, was very popular in western literature until the

Nineteenth Century. If you can, please read the Apocrypha it might be part of God’s Holy

History. There are other books too; the New Testament; Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Only two were Disciples of Christ. They all wrote about Jesus‟ birth, life, his teachings and his death. If you have not read these books lately, please reintroduce yourselves to them.

What I find so intriguing; they all were written by different individuals, and at different

locations, and at different times, yet they basically wrote the same thing.

There are also historical writings about Jesus. My conclusion; I believe these books are 100% true; Jesus is our Savior, our King.

After Christ was crucified, the Disciples went out into the world to spread and to hand down what they had seen. All Christians did not learn the same things, from the same books. Some also learned from the Gospel of Thomas, others from the Gospel of Mary or James or from other gospels, it all depended on who was teaching.

On October 312AD, the battle of the Milvian Bridge took place, and the holy history book would never be the same.

Constantine I, was one of Rome’s two emperors along with Maxentius, both had decided that Rome was only big enough for one emperor. The two decided to battle for leadership.

The night before the battle, that would be known as the Battle of the Mlivian Bridge, on

October 27th 312 AD (some say this was the day of ascension), Constantine saw the sign of the cross and heard a voice that said, You shall conquer, so Constantine told his army to place the sign of the cross on all shields (This fact is disputed). With his army vastly outnumbered,

Constantine won victory and claimed the

    Emperor’s throne.

From that day forward, he told the Lord that he would worship him. But it is also reported that Constantine not only worshiped the Lord, but also worshiped the unconquered Sun God, along with other Roman Gods. (I guess he wanted to hedge his bet in the afterlife.)

Bishop Hosius, of Corduba, went to Constantine and told him he was tired of people not believing the same thing and not reading from the same scriptures. Even the Bishops were fighting over beliefs.

One Bishop, Arius, believed at one time, that Jesus may not even have existed. Arius wrote about this. The church did not like it and burned most of Arius‟ papers. What history or information did we lose? What right did the church have in burning his papers?

Constantine called all Bishops to come and gather for a council (This is known as the Council of Nicaea, because it took place in Nicaea Greece.)

Constantine invited 1800 Bishops from the known world, and only about 325 Bishops attended. It is said that many Bishops did not attend because they felt it should be freedom of beliefs.

In attendance were men from the Roman

Senate, and those wealthy Roman citizens who knew Constantine.

The council was held on May25th and probably lasted for months. Even though Constantine would not take part in the council, he did make his grand entrance, and it is written; With the sun pouring through an opening at the top of the
