    THE LIGHT STONE

    A YOUNG GIRL skipped along the river bank. Her silvery hair shimmered in the radiant sun. The crystal clear waters meandered around the City of Light.

    A sparkle in the burbling water caught her eye. Could it be? She said.

    Could probably would, if you understood what you should. She heard a voice reply.

    Giggling, the young girl placed one hand on her hip and raised her other in reply.

    Be it a stone or a bone, I’ll never seek it alone, she bantered, with a beaming smile.

    You’ve traveled far young one, the friendly voice said. What has you skipping along so?

    Why a bright delight inspired me to take flight and seek a light! The young girl said, her ocean blue eyes gleaming with mystery and wonder.

    The young girl’s silvery hair twinkled in the reflective water. She couldn’t stop grinning as she curiously looked about the river.

    Could it be? She said again. Skipping out across the crystal water, she enjoyed the feel of the liquid beneath her feet.

    She started to glide on the air before spotting the shiny object beneath
