Chapter 1

SANTA’S DREAM

YOUNG SANTA CLAUS stood on Merry Hill, gripping tightly the Scepter of Christmas Magic. Gazing across the Great Sea, his silvery white hair blew behind him in the gusty winds. The distant caws of seagulls could be heard as Santa watched the sunrise casting its pearly light over the horizon.

Waves were rhythmically rolling up onto the shore below. Embers in the campfires interspersed along the hillside were still glowing hot. Santa gazed reflectively, recalling the vivid dream that had awakened him.
