A month passed. Then another.

Kim Augustus was itching to come out of hiding. Her time with Chelsea was special. All the time and all money in the world was a great thing.

Financially, Kim had arrived. She watched from a distance as Luxury Nights became a hit in San Antonio and Austin. The two biggest cities in Texas: Dallas and Houston would be a slam dunk. There was more money in those two cities than in many entire states.

They were both huge population areas bursting at the seams with all the strip clubs and porn video stores.  It was a cultural norm that men would hit the churches with their family on Sunday morning after spending the night stuffing dollars down a strange woman's panties.

Kim's health had stabilized. She still had the odd tremors in her hands. Before, they had alerted her to her likely sudden death. She was certain it was the same disease that had claimed her father. But nearly two months  later. They were no worse. Many days they weren't even there.
