Brieale Sound

Brieale Sound, is the author of erotic tales and episodes packed with fantasy, real life issues, and great storylines. Her books are meant for the adult connoisseur of erotic short stories and sexy reads. Her first novelette series: The Darke Room, an erotic vampire fantasy. It’s one hot read! Brieale Sound (pronounced: Bre’elle) is a southern author who has an unnatural obsession with coffee, The Walking Dead, and video games. Most of the time, you can find her writing or reading a juicy romance. She can cuss like a sailor (mainly alone in her car) and is a hopeless romantic at heart. She loves animals, especially, her four crazy, rambunctious dogs. (Don’t worry, she owns stock in lint rollers) Brieale started writing erotica because she loves to read smut! Nuff said!!

The sun bled through the boughs of trees in the distance. Presley Austin clung to a jagged rock out of breath and wondering why she’d ever decided to hike and climb alone. Recently, her decision-making abilities were in question. Falling for her professor, Jarred Thompson, was the worst and the break-up left her heartbroken. Climbing the forbidden mountain would prove she was still alive after months of moping. But after the fifth KEEP OUT sign she passed, she worried Bliss Mountain was just another bad choice in a long line of bad choices. She knew well enough the stories that haunted Bliss: missing persons, a hillbilly rapist, and of course, ghostly tales of spirits and phantoms. Stories made-up by small-town folk who had nothing better to do. But seeing the fresh, hand-written warnings, she couldn’t help but wonder who might be up there.

Another hundred feet, she said aloud, determined to brush off the bad vibes. The wind pummeled against the rock causing a slight whistle in the surrounding air. It wasn’t like anyone owned the treacherous mountain, many people had climbed its rocky cliffs and lived to tell it. Presley had chosen the steepest ridge; one most people never attempted, and one she was regretting. Her arms and legs burned as she pushed from a large rock that jetted out farther than the others. To her surprise, behind the large boulder was a dark, cavernous hole in the mountainside. She hadn’t heard of caves in the area, and her eyes lit up with excitement. Exploring new places had always appealed to her and this cave was no different. Slipping off her backpack, she dug out the flashlight she’d packed that morning. It was only a little after noon and plenty of time to check out the cave and get back to her apartment before sundown.

A hundred feet into the winding cave, she saw a tiny pinpoint of light. It was clear the cave traveled through the mountainside. She’d explored many caves, although this wasn’t typical of any she’d ever traveled through. The walls were too uniform; almost as if someone carved out the rock by hand. It was strange, even the floor of the cave was too flat and free of rock and debris that would normally collect over time. Farther down, light streamed in from the opposite opening. Presley’s eyes went wide as she approached the exit. A beautiful flat valley lay before her. Tall pines and mighty oaks filled the central space. The greenest grass she’d ever seen carpeted the ground. She dropped her backpack and wandered among the beautiful pines. It reminded her of a story her mother once told her of an enchanted forest deep within the mountains. After her mother had died, the story stayed dear to her heart. Zig zagging through the trees, Presley ran like the child from the story. For once in many months, she felt free and alive again. Suddenly, a snap, and her ankle erupted in horrible pain. It was as if her legs were knocked out from under her, and she fell hard. Her world faded into darkness.

Presley’s eyes fluttered open to a dark, blurry backdrop. Disoriented, she blinked to gain composure. As her eyes focused, heavy footsteps moved in her direction. Where was she? What happened? She was running through a forest, but the rest of her memories were muddled and distorted. When her eyes focused, she found herself inside an old cabin. The rustic appearance of the place seemed to be from a time long ago. Shelves lined one wall with herbs, roots and other items unfamiliar to her. The scent of pine and burning wood overwhelmed her. Raising her head was a mistake; the pain that shot through her temple caused
