About this ebook

“Hey, cowboy want to dance?” She said as she gave him a grin.
“I’m no cowboy, but I’ll take you for a ride,” He said with a sexy smile.
“No thanks on the ride but a quick once over the dance floor would be much appreciated. My boss has a rule about dancing on the floor at least once during your shift. I’m due since I get off soon, and it's slowing down so a partner would be much obliged. Beside bad boy you couldn’t handle a ride with me. I could rock your world.” She said with smugness.
“Is that so?” Chris said with a raised eyebrow. “What do they call you around here princess?”
“I’m Jessica.” She said with a shaking voice and a smile.
“Yeah and I’m the king of England but whatever you say. I like princess better. They call me Chris by the way.” Chris said as he slid out of the booth and held out his hand for hers.
“If I take that hand it’s just for a quick dance on the floor,” Rebecca said nervously trying to put on a front.
Chris grabbed her hand and pulled her close. Staring intensely into her eyes, Chris slid a piece of hair that had escaped out of her ponytail and into her face behind her ear.
He bent in close and whispered in her ear, “It will be whatever you want it to be.” Then he kissed her neck.

    Rebecca's Escape - M. Girls

Rebecca Gambino, the only child of crime boss Sonny Gambino, woke up early Saturday morning and set her plan into motion. After a long evening of playing hostess again for one of her father’s family get together, she was tired, but she was ready to get out and get away. Being a smart person she spent the last year stashing away money for her escape and that’s exactly what it was an escape. No one willingly walked away from the Gambino Family. You run as far and as fast as you possible can.

It wasn’t that she was mistreated or anything. She was treated like a queen. With her security detail she was able come and go as she pleased. She had traveled the world and shopped at the finest shops. Her sweet sixteen party was like a national holiday with fireworks and everything. No expense had been spared, Rebecca had the finest of everything. One day, however, she woke up, looked around and thought there had to be more than this. Rebecca couldn’t just sit around every day and not really do anything. It was a great life, but it was also very lonely. She had very few real friends and had never had a man in her life.

Rebecca wanted to get out of this life style and see what was out there, go where no one knew who she was and where she could have a normal life. Even have friends who liked her for her and not for the money or the name. She wanted to get a job and have a boyfriend. She didn’t need the boyfriend right away, but soon. Something that was all her own and completely real. Sometimes she felt like it was a fool’s dream, because of who her father was, but she had to try.

Rebecca got up and grabbed the clothes that she had tucked away in her closet. She quietly went to her private bathroom to get ready and grab a few things. She got dressed in a pair of dark blue denim jeans and a black halter top, she thought about how much she would miss her family. She loved them she really did just not their illegal activities or the fact that her life seemed to be on hold. Before she could talk herself out of it, Rebecca gathered some of her personal things, tossed them in a small travel bag, and returned to her room.

Rebecca got her purse and shoes and headed out of her room through the back door. She didn't want to use the front due to the fact security would catch her and insist she have a detail go with her. She crept through the backyard, around the pool, and was almost out the back gate when she suddenly frozen at the voice behind her.

    Rebecca, where are you going?

Damn so close. Slowly Rebecca turned around to find Tony one of the security guards approaching her.

"Hey, Tony! What’s up? Rebecca said with a girly smile.

Tony was one of the security guards assigned to her and she knew him forever. She also knew he had a huge crush on her. Too bad for him and any one else that may like her. Unfortunitly, her dad told everyone to stay away from her panty party. Maybe if she flirted a little though she could get away from him and out the gate.

Where you sneaking off to at the crack of dawn baby doll?Tony smirked.

Just going out for a run.

Without your shoes on and carrying your purse? Tony skeptically asked knowing she was full of it.

    Yes? Rebecca flirtatiously replied.

I don't buy it, Tony said as he grabbed her arm. Spill.

Leaning in close Rebecca whispered in Tony’s ear, I didn't want to wake anyone or have security all over my pretty little ass. I wanted an hour to run without anyone. Just me.

Moving back a little from Rebecca but with his had firmly still on her arm Tony replied, Ok, Rebecca I believe you but your dad would be all over me if I let you go alone. Why don't you wait right here while I go get somebody to go with you.

Tony I get it I do but I don’t need anyone to come. I did just say I wanted to go alone. Besides, it’s just a short run, I will be back before he even wakes up.

Tony knew he couldn’t let her go and she was up to something but he also knew how stubborn Rebecca could be. Trying to compromise Tony loosened his grip and stared into her dazzling eyes and said, How about I go with you instead? You know I can’t let you go alone. Beside I insist. Give me a few to change and I’ll be right back.

Rebecca thought for a moment. It’s really not necessary but if it will get me out of here for a run then I guess.

With a final look and a shake of his head, Tony turned and headed back to the house to go change for their run. He knew something was up with Rebecca, it had been for a while but no matter how many times he asked she didn’t say a word to him about what was wrong. He also had a gut feeling this would be that last time he would see her for a while but he wasn’t going to chain her to him or rat her out to her dad.

Once Tony was out of sight, Rebecca slid through the gate and as quietly as she could booked it to the back of the property. She didn’t want to wait around to get caught by anyone else, especially Tony. She felt horrible not telling Tony the truth. They were good friends, as they had grown up together. But she knew he would be the first person her dad would ask when he woke up, so it had to be done. Reaching the back of the property, Rebecca quickly pulled the tarp off the car she had stashed there. Panic stricken of getting caught, she fumbled the keys out of her purse and unlocked the door, while constantly scanning the area to see if there was anyone looking or following her. Yanking the door open, she quickly tossed her purse in the passenger seat, slid into the driver seat and took off like a bat out of hell. The sun was just getting up over the horizon and Rebecca’s adrenalin was still racing through her veins as she drove faster and faster towards the freeway hoping like hell no one was the wiser of her escape. She was almost free and clear of her old life and able to head to Arizona and start anew.

    Chapter 2

Four hundred miles away, Chris Salvador stirred awake to movement next to him. Groggily he opened his eyes and looked over to find that he was in another woman's bed…Again! It seemed to be a nasty habit with him. Ever since his parents passed away, he left his quiet life in California and lived a completely different lifestyle. Now all he wanted to do was party and spend as much time with as many women as possible. Unfortunately, no amount of whiskey or women could ever erase the pain he still felt from the death of his parents.

Painfully Chris sat up on the edge of the anonymous beauty's bed. He rubbed his eyes trying desperately to get them to focus to get the hell out of there. He had a major hangover and couldn’t remember her name for the life of him let alone anything that happened the night before. Finally, a little more focused and awake, Chris slid out of her bed and quietly grab his clothes. He silently went into the bathroom to put them and handle his business. A few minutes later he slid out of the bathroom, grabbed his bike helmet and jacket and was out the front door.

She was just another notch in his belt he wouldn't remember tomorrow. He didn’t want to be like this, it wasn’t how he was raised. Until his parent's death, he was a good guy. With a genius IQ Chris went to college at 15 years old got multiple degrees and then went to work for his father in real-estate. He was also extremely handsome a very dangerous combination. He lived a very quiet life with work and school, and he liked it. But when his parents passed away his whole world had been turned upside down. He had to handle a lot of things on his own because his brother had been too busy or too caught up in his own grief to deal with anything else.

Stepping outside, Chris was hit with an icy breeze. It was colder than he expected and his jeans and tee didn’t help to keep out the cold. As he walked down her front steps, he swung on his jacket and grabbed his gloves from the pocket. He put them on and then slapped on his helmet just as he got to his bike. Chris pulled the key out of his pocket and slid onto his bike. He looked up at the house regretting sneaking away but too caught up in his own shit to stay. He put the key in the ignition and turned it on. The bike sprang to life like it had a mind of its own. Chris pushed up the kick stand and sped away.

His first stop would be the hotel he was staying at, not that he was there for any length of time. It was somewhere he could take a shower at and crash for a few hours till the next time he went to a bar or club to get drunk and find female companionship. He got to the hotel in ten short minutes. There was hardly a car on the street. But what would you expect at six in the morning anyway? Chris pulled up to his room, shut off his bike and went in.

Chris decided to take a shower before he got on the road again. He hoped it would help clear the fog of his hangover and make him feel better. He grabbed some clothes from his bag that he left on the bed and headed to the shower. After turning on the shower and stripping out of his clothes, Chris glanced at his reflection in the mirror and didn’t even recognize the person looking back at him. It was happening more and more as of late. What was he doing with his life? This wasn’t who he was meant to be who he pictured to be. He also didn’t picture having two dead parents or being riddled with guilt. If only… No. No. NO! He needed to stop with that line of thought it wasn’t his fault. He needed to get back to life, back to school, back to work. But how? How could he go back to his everyday life? If there was one thing his parent’s death had taught him, it was live life to the fullest, and that’s what he was doing, right? He was trying to convince himself of that fact but not doing a very good job of it.

Turning from the mirror, Chris jumped into the shower and under the warm spray. It was soothing to his worn and tired muscles. He washed his hair and his body making sure he got every inch of his body’s perfection. He might look like a God on the outside, but he was a royal mess on the inside. He stayed under the warm spray until the water ran cold and then jumped out. Once wrapped with a towel around his waist, he moved over to the sink to shave.

    All cleaned up
