This was the most selfish and disgusting book I have ever read. The fact that the author could justify killing a human being because she wanted to do what was more convinient and fun for her was appauling. The ideas, thoughts, and terrible arguments in this short and self centered book made me sick to my stomach.

No perspective gained, and it made me realize what a slippery slope the abortion argument has.

12 "reasons" to justify ending the life of a unique and defenseless person. Intelligent reasoning skills are not present here. Very weak, shallow, foolish and invalid arguments are made here to make you feel better about potentially making a terrible choice. Babies in the womb are not tumors or cysts, no matter how old they are, or what they look like, or that they are dependent upon the mother (who the majority of the time already made the choice to conceive the baby). Babies in the womb are people, scientifically this is proven and just seems pretty obvious. People thinking otherwise are refusing to face reality and are wearing blinders, like supporters of the Holocaust. Offing a baby isn't the right thing to do for any reason. It's sometimes very hard or inconvenient to do the right thing but it is better than the alternative. If you care about yourself and your future, the best thing for you to do is the right thing, even if you don't get to follow your life plan exactly as you had mapped it out.
