There are some activities we believe are important enough that we have dedicated entire chapters to the topic. Long or short, if the idea merited a chapter, it’s important. Don’t skip a single chapter. You may not incorporate all of them in your plan but make it a deliberate decision. This is your 50th year. Take the time to ponder your options. Kathryn Wrolstad Ling is an Ordained Elder, Northern Illinois Conference of the United Methodist Church. She has a Master of Divinity from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois and a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin.Her career has included work with the American Cancer Society, American Red Cross and the National Alzheimer’s Association.She is the recipient of the Civilian Medal for service in Vietnam. Kathryn has served on numerous boards and provided leadership training in the sector.
