    From June: I enjoy browsing through vintage greeting cards, especially those featuring photos of women, and I found myself wondering one day what kind of lives these women led. What were their hopes and fears—their dreams and aspirations? Over time, this curiosity evolved into an idea for a book that would feature vintage photos paired with inspiring and sometimes humorous quotes—one that would remind readers how women’s character and strength have endured through time.

    I asked my dear friend (and photographer) Barb Mayer to coauthor this book. Together we studied thousands of images and quotations. Our aim was to create
