Hanich, a young man, is presented with a situation of being an apprentice to Mr. Scrimm, the proprietor of a kitchen which offers Comfort for People in Extraordinary Circumstances
, which does its humane activities in a neighborhood known as the Academia. Along with his co-worker, Mira, Hanich is given opportunity to learn the trade of offering help to people who need it the most.
