About this ebook

Omegas aren’t suited for love, most would say. We fall on the bottom rung of the ladder. We exist to be bred, and nothing else. The world’s wrong. Omegas deserve a shot at their happily-ever-after like everyone else. I refuse to end up being some arrogant alpha’s breeding machine.

I’m Jack Michaels, and this is the story of how I ended up with a domineering lone wolf capable of sending me to my knees and beg him for more. What Ripper and I have is not just romance, its heat capable of incinerating everything in its path. I’m beyond terrified. Ripper doesn’t just want my purity, but also my heart on the platter.

    Chapter One

Jack Michaels took silent stock of the gorgeous male in front of him. The six-foot blue-eyed and golden haired Alpha in the tailored suit gave Jack an easy smile. Jasper Watts wore the same smile in his social media pages, his arm slung over a different young man each time.

In his favorite black hoodie, faded jeans and dirty sneakers Jack looked underdressed, inappropriate, given Jasper took him out to the most expensive restaurant in Red Cedar, Jack’s tiny hometown. The French restaurant screamed pretentious, like his date—perfect on the outside, too pristine, but held dark secrets underneath.

Admirers and diners who heard of the Alpha who ran a successful internet business while managing his pack, gave Jasper admiring looks and shot Jack envious glares.

He decided he hated Jasper even before he opened his mouth.

Your father hadn’t been joking. You look as handsome as the photos he sent me.

Jasper beamed at him, smile faltering for a second when Jack kept quiet and fiddled with his phone.

Pointing out Jack’s father arranged this sickening date—that was a good one. One point for Jasper and zero for Jack, or that was how Jack liked to appear anyway. A disinterested and spoiled Omega who relied on his father for date arrangements didn’t scream threatening.

Male Omegas capable of giving birth had always been in demand in these parts and finding an unmated twenty-one-year-old with his purity in tact had been practically unheard of.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to us getting to know each other better.

But I do know you, Jack said.

He had enough of this charade and plenty more like it. Better to cut to the bone and stop wasting both their time.

Jasper frowned and finally looked at Jack for the first time. We’ve just met.

I know everything about you, Jasper Watts, or do I call you Wally Mclaughlin?

The first ripple of unease appeared across Jasper’s smooth features. Any kid can do basic research on the internet.

The guy you hired to erase all evidence of your past wasn’t very good, not up to my standards anyway. Should I give it to you straight, Alpha? Let’s stop pretending. You don’t give a shit about me.

Jack placed his phone down, letting Jasper see the screen. Breathing hard, Jasper swiped the phone. It took him a second to comprehend.

This is my private email address.

You use the same password for everything. Not very smart. You told my dad you wanted to strengthen your pack, but your pack’s made of shifters kicked out by other packs, goons for your money laundering business.

Jasper slid the phone back to him, face paling. Recovering swiftly, an ugly expression crossed Jasper’s face, turning the prince into a beast. Eyes narrowed, eyes yellow with rage, Jasper cracked his knuckles. Hints of fur appeared under his suit, but Jasper wouldn’t lose control here.

Jack’s father wasn’t just the Alpha of the local wolf pack, but the representative of all the animal groups in the area.

You think you’re so smart, you little piece of shit? In my pack, Omegas know their place—at the bottom of the barrel. They stay on their knees and offer their asses to whoever owns it. Dearest dad can’t protect you forever.

    "Remember, Jasper.
