It was the first time Mina had tried the teriyaki flavor. She pushed around the last few pieces on her plate, not feeling very impressed. She’d sampled everything else on their menu, so naturally it was the next thing to try. With how hard Tiffany lobbied for it, she should have known better.

As if on cue, Tiffany sipped the last of her soda and kept slurping through the straw. There was clearly nothing left.
