Tango is a special culture, melting pot of people and traditions. It has amusing way to entertain and make your life more enjoyable. It portrays passion, hate, romance and every other human emotion. Tango is a unique improvisational dance based on communication and spiritual enjoyment. It is the most appealing and addictive dance to learn. Tango dancing is both theatrical and eccentric, and depends on the physical and mental cooperation between a man and a woman. Tango was born in the shadowy dance halls and brothels of Buenos Aires in the middle of 19 century, and it still seduces all who listen and watch it. Tango was born as a dance of singles that were looking for partners to release sexual tension. Tango still remains a dance through which people find romance, and couples get motivated for a better and more exciting life. Tango is magic. It is passionate, sultry and provocative.
The Argentinean Tango, a ritual of pleasure and sensuality, holds a unique place in couple dancing. The body is closer, more intimate than in any other dance form. And yet the legs move faster and with more deadly accuracy than in any other comparable dance. It is this combination of sensual, meditative, relaxed contact in the upper body and swift, almost martial arts-like repartee in the lower body that gives the tango its unique identity. Tango is not only a fulfilling experience, but it is also an authentic form of therapy. When you dance it well, tango brings you joy and countless rewards on different levels of life and spirit. In tango, people use several forms of movement, such as balancing, turning, moving at a variety of speeds and walking backwards, that are especially favorable to physical and psychological health.
Tango is largely based on the subtle communication between two people. It expands the emotional intelligence, develop abilities to be more present, self-conscious, to be more empathetic, and communicate better with people. Featured as a sensual dance in many popular films, tango allows dancers to improvise as soon as they learn the basic elements. It depends on the synchronized physical and mental cooperation of a man and a woman, and requires togetherness.
It was borrowed from many nations and dance elements of different countries. Immigrants from Europe and Africa streamed into the outskirts of Buenos Aires during the 1880's. They looked desperately for a distraction to ease their sense of rootlessness and disenfranchisement as strangers in a strange land. Lonely immigrants and societal outcasts sought to escape from their feelings, but instead they developed music and dance that epitomized them. Tango speaks of frustrated love, fatalism, and of destinies engulfed in pain. For some, it is a dance of a sorrow. Those first people, who danced tango in 19 century, had a huge competition, and who fought mostly for the respect. They had nothing in common except the perception of the tango music, and they devised a method of selection: Dance Tango. Tango still gives us an escape from an everyday routine, since most of us who learn it are refugees from life. It also discloses the seclusion of some people, and the necessity for the relationship. Learning the tango philosophy would provide a window into the soul of that special world. The psychology of the Tango is in the poetry of its lyrics, in the music, in the hopes and frustrations, in the illusions and dreams. The most valuable, universal meaning of this book some readers might find in the chapter about the really dark side of Tango. The book also describes how the dark energy
