About this ebook
After a brief but torrid affair with her boss, Cassidy finds herself out of a job. And unlikely to find another one in the entire state of California. With $300 in her bank account and nowhere else to turn, she eagerly accepts an interview with a mysterious company named A Job With A View. Soon she learns that this company specializes in short-term contracts abroad, for administrative assistants willing to accept other duties as well. Duties of the sexual kind.
Cassidy accepts - not like she has much choice - and finds herself in Tokyo, Japan. There, she discovers the beauty of a city both ancient and modern, futuristic and traditional. Through it all she begins to understand the gift that has been offered to her... and how she can pay it back.
With all the spice of contemporary erotica and the rich description of travelogue. Tokyo: A Job With A View is a sexy trip to Japan's inimitable capital.

A Note from Fionna:
I had the wonderful experience of living in Japan for a year and a half. It remains one of my favorite places in the world. Never have I been welcomed by such gracious people, made friends, enjoyed cultural exchange, visited places of astounding beauty – and eaten so many delicious foods, my mouth waters just writing about them.
Though I didn’t live in Tokyo, I visited often. The capital of Japan encapsulates the modernity, and the traditionalism, of the entire country. At the same time futuristic and ancient, teeming with culture, utterly unique, it is a perfect capital. The city inspired me to reflection, even as it gave me pause. Many of the places I describe are true to how I remember them from my own Tokyo visits. The pleasure of an onsen, the indescribable deliciousness of okonomiyaki, the charm of a daruma doll, and the majesty of a panoramic city view, all came back to me as I wrote this piece.
I hope it inspires you, as well.

Afterwards, Cassidy replayed the whole story in her head, half wondering how much had been real and how much was simply her imagination. And yet there she was, flying first class back over the Pacific, a charming ANA hostess serving her another glass of hot green tea. Not to mention the check she had tucked so carefully into her wallet… the check for ten thousand dollars. That was precisely $9,700 more than her bank account currently contained. As she thought it over for the umpteenth time, sipping tea while gazing out over the boundless ocean, Cassidy thought that really, the hefty check was the only reason she’d even agreed to try it out. Well, that and Nathan.
*
It was all his fault. Of course, she should have known better than to let herself be tempted by the boss’s son. Nathan was tall and blond, with a cute cleft in his chin, a dashing smile, and sparkling blue eyes that could have charmed a nun right out of her knickers. He was funny and courteous and rich and sexy. Also married. That hadn’t mattered to Cassidy at the time, simply because it hadn’t seemed to matter to Nathan either. What an idiot she’d been! She, the administrative assistant slash receptionist, had foolishly assumed their wild affair had been carefree. After all, it was just sex – two hot, sweaty, moaning, desk-shaking months of it. But Natasha cared, and when she caught her husband balls deep in the secretary after work one night, Cassidy found herself unceremoniously fired. Her temp agency dumped her like a hot potato, too.
For three weeks she budgeted strictly, ate Cup Noodles, and hit the proverbial pavement. Natasha was nothing if not thorough, however; it wasn’t long before Cassidy realized she would never get another job as an administrative assistant in the Bay Area – perhaps even the whole state of California. Meanwhile her rent was late, several utilities had sent red-inked reminders, her phone bill was overdue, and she had all of $300 in her checking account. Desperate didn’t even begin to cover it.
The call came like a fresh breeze on a sweltering afternoon. She was flopped on the couch, eating a piece of slightly stale toast and feeling sorry for herself, when the phone started buzzing. The number was marked Unknown.
Wishing she were more curious, but in truth merely apathetic, she answered.
Hello?
Yes, hello, my name is Alberto Cruz and I’m calling for a Miss Cassidy Severin.
This is she…
Miss Severin! I’m so glad to reach you. I represent A Job With A View, a company specializing in qualified administrative assistants for short-term assignments overseas. We received your resume, and we are very interested in having you over for an interview. Could you make it on Thursday at eleven o’clock?
Ah… eleven on Thursday? Sure! I mean, let me double-check my calendar...
Of course, the damn calendar was completely blank, but Cassidy figured she’d better make it at least sound like she had other options, …Yes, Thursday at eleven should work just fine.
Perfect! We look forward to meeting you in person. I’ll send a card with our address. Take care, Miss Severin.
The card arrived the next day, a discreet recycled-paper postcard printed with the company name, phone number and e-mail, and address. That was it. No promo photographs, no testimonials, nothing whatsoever to indicate what kind of company it was. No matter; Cassidy was determined not to let this opportunity slide. At that point she was ready to try almost anything.
Wearing sensible black pumps, a classic skirt and jacket, a bun, and her faux pearls, Cassidy tried not to let her nervousness show as she shook hands with the interview panel. They were all men, clearly well-to-do professionals; the kind of people who usually intimidated her. However, they greeted her with smiles and strong handshakes, and soon she found herself chatting away, perfectly at ease. The interview was standard at first, but soon the questions started turning personal.
If you don’t mind, Cassidy, would you please share a little of your romantic history? Are you seeing anyone at the moment?
Do you enjoy casual sexual encounters?
What are your limits, regarding what you will and will not do with a romantic partner?
Have you ever considered exchanging sexual favors for money?
When that question finally aired, Cassidy had a fairly good idea of what was going on. Clearly this was an escort service! How had they even gotten a hold of her resume?
Excuse me,
she said, standing abruptly, I was led to believe that this was an interview for an administrative assistant position. Why are you asking me these kinds of questions?
Please sit down, Miss Severin, and allow me to explain further,
soothed a tall, elegant older gentleman, gesturing back to her seat. Cassidy obeyed, tentatively.
A Job With A View is a very unique company,
he continued, leaning forward and looking at her intently. "Here, we look for qualified administrative assistants who are willing to work short-term contracts overseas, generally from one to four weeks in length. Now, as you know, customs and expectations vary widely from country to country. In many parts of
