There’s an island off the west coast of Scotland. The island is just to the north of the Shiant Islands and it’s a very private island with a favorable climate warmed by the Gulf Stream. That island used to have a matriarchic society on it and they used to hold fertility rites there every year at the dawn of time. Now a rich woman owns that island and those fertility rites have been revived. Women come from all over the world to the new fertility rites but one thing is a given; the men come only from the Scottish Highlands and most of them are descended from Vikings. They are all tall, dark, handsome men and they are excellent and attentive lovers.

You are on a boat heading for a Scottish Island. You are with your English girl friend Maxine. Tomorrow you will both participate in an old festival from three thousand years ago that has recently been brought back to life. The festival is an old fertility rite that was banned by early missionaries over one thousand years ago. The reasons for bringing the festival back are simple, the islands are dying from an economic point of view and this festival brings in a lot of tourist dollars. This is just one of several festivals that have been revived by the island.

Soon you arrive at the island. The afternoon sun is pleasantly warm and you hope that it will be warm the next day. The island is ten miles long by about two miles wide with just one road going round the whole island. You book into your hotel and then wander around the main town which is really not much bigger than a large village. There are a lot of women wandering around but very few men. You ask Maxine about this and she tells you that the men will arrive by boats very early the next day. Only men from the Scottish Highlands and Islands are allowed to participate. Women participating can come from anywhere in the world.

The next morning you are both up early. You hear male voices and look out of the window. There are strict requirements on dress codes. All the men are wearing black trousers with heavy boots. None of them are wearing any shirts which as far as you are concerned is a welcome sight with which to start the day. You are in an upstairs room so you are able to look out at the men without being observed. Maxine joins you at the window. The men hear you talking and look up. Maxine waves at them and they smile and wave back.

You go back into the room and start to get ready. Maxine is already showered so you go in the shower. When you come out Maxine is already in costume. All she is wearing is a pair of panties and a long flowing skirt. This is supposed to be based on what the inhabitants of the island wore 3,000 years ago but nobody really knows for sure. The brochure tells you that it is known that temperatures in Scotland in Viking times were much warmer than they are now. The brochure also tells you that in Roman times 1,700 years ago, grape vines were grown as far north as the City of Leeds in north England which would be impossible in the modern day climate. This is their justification for having women and men going topless to the fertility rite but you both suspect that the real reason is just to spice things up a little. You finish drying yourself. Your skirt is lying on the bed. You put on a pair of white panties and then put your skirt on. It reaches down to your ankles. That is all you are wearing and you are both naked from the waist up. You feel a little embarrassed about having your breasts on display but it is obvious that Maxine is really into the swing of things and enjoys being topless.

You eat breakfast and then head out to the town square where the fertility rite will start. A woman gives out a single white flower to all the women. You will present this flower to the man you choose in the rite. An island rule states that all women and men outside today must be in costume. You know that many of the islanders are taking part too. You pass two men dressed only in boots and black trousers. They bow from the waist as you go past and offer a polite greeting in Gaelic. You like the idea of being bowed to. You stop to chat briefly to them and you notice them looking at your breasts. At first you are a little shy but as the conversation goes on you become more used to being topless. You know that Maxine sunbathes topless all the time and she does not seem shy at all. The men are both very nice and
