About this ebook

After many trips to surreal and magical places, now, for older readers an amalgamation of poetic words have arrived in Peter: Disturbed Blood - Poetry. Spirits and reapers may surface with the demise of your mortal body and enhance your inner fears. You have been warned — words carry great energy and emotion to provoke your soul and the air around you. They will live with you forever, in your quietest and most venerable moments. For those that engage and dance in cupid’s flame, especially with the dark ones … the best of luck to you, my friends.

    Peter - William O'Brien

    Peter

    Disturbed Blood

    ––––––––

A collection of 30 tiny thoughts

    to contemplate

    Tiny Thoughts

    ~

    William O’Brien

    ––––––––

In the stalls of the dark and glib

Put inside the troughs, animal ribs

    Goblin nectar pouring blue

Night times dank, small ones spew

    ––––––––

Out of vile there is a new

A seed has fallen covered true

Oily face spins in the rings

    Petrol colour puddle evil brings

    ––––––––

Light scrapes through planked wall gaps

    Silver slivers replenish mantraps

A bud emits fluorescence of green

Life so stifled, must be seen

    ––––––––

Imp fills swill, chews the pointy crud

Rotten mouth, jagged teeth and blood

Blast of yellow surges along the run

Piercing goblin’s eye, blade from the sun

    ––––––––

In the rain and sunlit dew

One spied some earth deeply moved

    Glimpse of burning from above

    Crept between the splintered wood

    ––––––––

Someone must have tripped the light

As smoke and dust filtered through

    Putrid smell then did drift

    Disturbing the vamp in slumber

    ––––––––

    Slowly shuffling between two worlds

Not human or passed would be

More light was shed, the coffin moaned

    Disrupting the living dead

    ––––––––

Evil cried as the sun did shine

But it was not for me or any other foe

God sat calm and smiled an ace

While the mole did his task, shifting dirt below

    ––––––––

    Bite my face

    Taste the blood

    Cherry sinews

    Oh, so
