About this ebook
Professor Phil Harding was visited by his cyborg brother, John Harding. "So, what's the good news?" asked Phil as his brother entered their house. "A friend of mine, another cyborg had when visiting Papua New Guinea searching for the big Orangutan found these bat people living in a cave. I'm going to visit these bats, are you coming with me?" "Of course I'm coming," said Phil and asked when the plane leaves. "I have everything lined up. My car is outside and a helicopter is waiting to take us to the airport." "Don't you want a cup of coffee?" asked Liz, Phil's wife. "No thanks. If you have a pint of good oil I could use it," joked John as he and Phil went out to the car. Arriving at Port Moresby New Guinea some Australian soldiers were waiting for them. The trip up to the central mountain range went without problems. After driving for an hour, they heard a scream. Checking it out, it was one of the bat people being attacked by a large animal. Sergeant Wills with his rifle shot in the air and scared away the animal. This Pat person told us that his name was Arrdt and he had only been out for some exercise when attacked. We were invited to follow him, and we walked up to a huge cave. Inside the cave was a large spacecraft. "We had to land here to find some ore needed to repair our ship," explained Arrdt. This was the start of the most exciting trip I have ever had. The ship was repaired, and some of the alien crew opted to become cyborgs.

It wasn’t that long ago, if I remember right it must have been during the last snowstorm of the season, sometime in late March. The snow wasn’t falling; it was coming down in truckloads, and it didn’t take more than half an hour and the streets were impossible for any commute. That was the day when I for the first time was told, or heard, about the human Bat People that my brother John Harding’s friend had found in central New Guinea. As I have always been partial to everything new, and out of the ordinary, I had been waiting for my brother to come and pick me up for this exciting journey to south of the equator.
Now a few weeks later, I am expecting my brother John, to come over to our house and pick me up for this journey to New Guinea, the large island north of Australia. I am Professor Phil Harding, but I am not the developer of the perfect cyborg; that was my older brother, Professor John Harding that perfected the surgical transplant to put the full workable human brain into a robotic body. We now have a large group of surgical doctors that can, and are making cyborgs of everyone interested in living forever.
I am still in my sixties, close to six feet and I am weighing in at hundred eighty pounds. My hair has turned to a mixed grayish color but my eyes are still blue. I have been waiting for this important call from my brother about these human bats; my brother and I intended to go down to New Guinea and really have them checked out. Think about it, fully-grown people with bat-wings, that are living here on Earth without anyone knowing about it. How could it been possible, and how have they been able to hide for such a long time. They must be extraterrestrials, coming from another world. Even so, where is the craft that broth them here?
One of my older brothers’, John’s, cyborg friend, there are today billions of them. This cyborg had in the deepest part of New Guinea, close to the center of the Central Range, between the southern part of the range and the rain forest below, found the habitat of these humanoid bats. Now we, my older brother and I, have decided to go down there to the Australian side of this island and personally have a good look at these flying humans. Theoretically it should be impossible for them to fly, but they are by my brother’s cyborg friend, flying like birds with big thin black wings. They have two arms and two legs; the wings are as we understand it, protruding from their back, or are as far as we theoretically can understand an outgrowth from their shoulder blades. My older brother is by the way a cyborg himself; he had his brain implanted into a robotic body a few years ago, it is a little bit difficult to ask him, a tin can, for example. How are you John?
He looks from the outside a perfect copy of his former self. However, except for the brain, he is all cyborg.
