About this ebook
Estella Lang had while helping her father, Earl Lang, with the weekends hunt, been shot with an arrow. The arrow hit her on her left shoulder. And, a good part of the arrow could be seen sticking out on Estella;s back, as you could see a few inches sticking out. A lady, Beatrice Crown had, as she heard Estella's scream come to see how she could help. A young man, Thorwald Eager, had as he said slipped on a wet stone, shot the arrow by mistake. It was later found out that he had shot to kill Estella, to help a good friend, David Anchor. He David had been refused by Estella, and to work it out David had promised Thorwald some money if he during the hunt, could kill her. It took some time to work it all out. With some magic, Earl Lang's sister Jezebel had succeeded to stop the guilty party.

Estella Lang, screamed out in sudden and excruciating pain. Then as she looked at her left shoulder, she with tears in her eyes saw that an arrow had been shot right through it. She almost fainted, and had to steady herself against a nearby tree. This cannot have been an accident, - - - no way,
she thought, - - - or something that has happened by mistake. Someone must have purposely shoot this arrow at me.
she kept thinking as she looked at the arrow that had gone right through her left shoulder. However, that is my own opinion for whatever that is worth. Who did this to me, and why did someone shoot an arrow at me? Did the person try to kill, or maim me?
Estella was quickly helped by another member of the hunting party, Lady Beatrice Crown, that was the first person that came running to Estella’s help when she heard how Estella screamed out in pain. Lady Crown’s first thought was to remove the arrow, just pull it out from Estella’s left shoulder, but as she saw that the point of the arrow had gone right through Estella’s shoulder, and it was sticking out a good two inches from her back, she quickly realized that it would make the damage a lot worse. So, she took her own silk scarf, and tried to use it to stop some of the blood flow, from both Estella’s chest, and her back.
What has happened?
she said looking first at the arrow, then at Estella.
Someone has shoot this arrow at me! This cannot have been an accidental shooting. However, Beatrice, who could it be? Why would someone try to shoot me, or kill me?
By the feathers on the arrow, I can see it belongs to Thorwald Eager, and his family. They use the red and purple colors on their arrows.
Said Lady Crown as she tried to think out the best way to handle the arrow without making it more painful for Estella.
