The Engineer
In the far-off northern land of Frostica, the icebound cap at the top of the world, a mighty steam engine runs along the shoreline, its tracks encircling the continent. In the cab of Engine No. 19, The Engineer keeps a watchful eye on the frozen land to his left, and the frigid sea to his right. His job is to watch for signs of poachers; illegal hunters traveling to Frostica in search of the extraordinary crystalbous and frostycats who dwell in this northern wilderness.
Frostycats are large, dangerous felines with sharp claws and even sharper teeth. They are coveted for their soft, warm pelts which have two layers, one a shimmering soft under layer of rich silver and the other, an overcoat of water-repellant pure white fur. But while these pelts are valuable, the most sought-after prizes are the mighty crystalbous. These long-legged, soulful-eyed animals roam Frostica’s snowy mountains and vast tundra,
